flayn80 Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Hi! Guys. My buddy's 1/48 VF-1S head had broken off and he wished to take it out for some minor repair. Is there any idea to remove the head?? Thanks in advance!!

Hurin Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 You have to remove two screws and then take the fuselage apart. One, I believe is in the landing gear well. The head is sandwiched between the two (top and bottom) halves of the fuselage/nose. Hope that helps. Taking it apart is easy. . . getting it back together is the hard part. It takes some patience to get everything just right and get the two halves back together.
