Lucky all of you who get to preorder this. I don't even know they make VF-4 until a month ago. Been focusing on DX chogokin for a while. Now, hopefully they make DX chogokin VF-4 next. 

 

Got the 1/100 F/A-18E today.  Having bits of red, I’ll put it with this lineup along with the VF-4.

What is that small vf-25? The original hi metal release? 

 

I'm really thinking of letting these ones go((HMR VF4 x 2) once I pay for them(don't want to get bad reputation from AmiAmi by cancelling), some surprise  expenses pop up for me so I will need to recover some of the cash from this purchase, if I decide to let them go(I hope not) I will sell them for much less of its original price, will let you know guys  .

These 2 color combination reminded me of gundam heavyarms and gundam leopard

 

The speaker pods use the same mounts as the VF-25 missiles where they clip to the front of the wings; no adapter needed (I don't think I ever mounted the speakers but I have some of the missiles from the Ver.1 missile set on my renewal RVF-25.)

Okay thanks for the explanation. I will get that booster set now. 

 

Somewhere buried in here or another thread someone has the speaker pods mounted. Let me see if I can find it.

Guys, anyone ever tried putting the gallia fold set on the renewal vf-25? Especially the speaker pods? I can't find any reviews online anywhere. Will it fit? Need to know before i buy it. Thanks

This looks way better than the OOB figure. Aoshima really should make the girl with full body suit. Btw, does anyone think that Aoshima overdid it with the bust size?

Does anyone here ever try to use the model kit weapon with their DX chogokin? I just bought Alto's armored messiah, and it comes with sniper rifle. So i thought of giving it to my DX chogokin.

It's great I'm sure. But i was hoping 1 siegfried would be enough. I've been down that path before with Vf25. I bought 3Alto for each armor. Looks like bandai got me again this time.

I would rather bandai start making variable fighter from other series. We need YF-21 now.  And VF-1 in same scale as other DX chogokin.

Anyway, that got me to thinking, what character WOULD be with it.  It seems Hayate and Freyja were an item, so that would make a good pairing, right?  I wonder if there's an action figure of Freyja that's generally the right size... And it seems that answer is YES!  An SH Figuarts Freyja is 135mm tall, and it looks like the Aoshima figure is 150mm. 

Does anyone have either figure to take measurements of?  What would be required to make Freyja's dress a little more flexible?

And now I'm thinking, what about a Lynn/VF-1J pairing?  I wonder if I could hack a 1/72 model to hold my Kitzconcepts figure in a similar manner.  Hmm...

The girls are generic girl. I'm assuming, if aoshima want to use macross girls then we would have to pay more. If this line going well, i hope aoshima would release the characters as a separate releases. And not just the girls of course.
