I only collect the VF-1 so I got them in 1/48 scale for the size. After having the size of the 1/48 I can't settle for a 1/60. The 1/48 I have are very solid and are easily displayed in many poses.

VF-1S Roy=1 VF-1S Hikaru=1 VF-1S 25th=1 VF-1J Hikaru w/FP=1 VF-1J Max FP=1 VF-1J Miria FP=1 VF-1J Stealth FP=1 these are all 1/48 scale.

If you use paypal to pay should't that protect you somewhat from scammers?

VF-1S Hikaru DYRL with red fastpacks like this MP Jetfire This was an easy custom that used VF-1S Hikaru and Miria FP. I only had to throw 3 stickers on and add a little krylon spray paint on the FP tips and arm armor. I found a shade of krylon that was a perfect match for Miria's FP. This was my first Yamato fig I got 2 months ago to customize into Jetfire and the damn things are addicting so now I have 7 of the 1/48's.

1/48= 7 VF-1S Hikaru DYRL VF-1S Roy on the way VF-1J Hikaru VF-1J Miria VF-1J Stealth VF-1S 25th VF-1J Max on the way those are the only figures I have in any scale.

Sorry about posting in wrong section. Mod can move if you will. So the original Japanese release of Macross would be recommended over Robotech is what you are saying?

I have never seen any of the tv episodes or movies so would this set be a good one to get for an introduction to Robotech/Macross series?

So for the VF-1S I would have to get a VF-1A Max and do a head swap with a VF-1S head. I guess that makes my decision a little easier. I am not a fan of the VF-1A head. thanks

I have this new laptop with the finger pad control and I am still getting used to it. I hit the pad and all of the sudden click, click, click and I have 3 posts.

If you were to get only one 1/48 Max which would it be? The VF-1J that comes with super strike parts or the VF-1S from DYRL. Space is an issue for me so I only want to get one of them so I wanted to hear any thoughts from others on why you would choose one over the other.

I am in the process of getting a 1/48 Fokker and was wondering if there is anything I should know about the different releases. How many times has it been reissued. Is the 1st release better/worse than the second release and so on. Any info will help. thanks

I only have 1/48s and I can't imagine going to the 1/60 because I like the size of the 1/48s. I only collect VF-1 fighters though so scale is not an issue for me. I got introduced to these figs via Transformers Jetfire. I was browsing the Transformers listings on Ebay and seen a "Masterpiece Jetfire". It was a VF=1S Hikaru and I had to have one. I now have VF-1J Stealth, VF=1J Max, VF-1J Miria, VF-1J Hikaru, VF-1S 25th and VF-1S as Jetfire. I am working on getting VF-1S Roy and then I think I will be done. If I could only have one it would be the VF-1S as Jetfire. If I would recommend one it would be the VF-1J Stealth. The 1/48s are a true Masterpiece.
