Live action movie? Ummmmmm no. Unless I hear something in the effect of Larry Hama has his hand in it and he doesnt have restrictions, I am in no way gonna watch it. I mean, I like GI Joe but dont deface it. Hollywood has screwed up wayyyy too many movie adaptations. Hmmm let's list them:

I am sure there are more but that is all I can think of at the moment. X-men and Spiderman were pretty good adaptations of our comic book/comic/toy. But you get the gist. More bad adaptations than good ones. Only one in the middle was Resident Evil. It was ok. Lord only knows how Hollywood would screwup a Robotech live action movie...

How can you keep saving money when you keep spending it on Macross VFs? Sounds like an oxymoron.

Anyways, my wallet is gonna hurt. I have 2 low vis and now in the process acquiring 2 more. Now we have the 1Js? Lord have mercy! Maybe I should not buy the other 2 low vis. <_<

Sorry to all that I have not been very active on the boards latly...work is killing me. I have sent off a first order to Yamato for parts. Now it is a waiting game. Hopefully they can get it right in one shot. Everyone that has put in a request above this post got on the list. I should know more in a week to week 1/2. When the parts arrrive I will PM everyone with their totals. Don't worry about paying now as I don't know if they will send the correct parts or if something can't be ordered.

But seriously....the radar hardpoint? Wouldn't the "real" one have the same thing, much less a 1/60 scale toy? How else should it be attached? The yellow nose? Isn't it supposed to have one? I could go on, buuuuuut...

Well, if you look at earlier pics of the Elint in fighter mode, you can see that the hardpoint was easy on the eyes. Take a look at the pic on HLJ's site, and you'll see what I mean. Yamato made it this big, fugly thing in the final product. Maybe, it wasn't strong enough, so they made it bigger. I'm not as anxious to get it or the SuperO as I used to be. Think I'll wait to see if they come down some because as of right now, I'm not paying full price for these disappointments. I'll also hang onto my Bandai Chunky Monkeys since I don't think the Yamatos blow them away.

More money for 1/48 Fast Packs!

I beg to differ on the Bandai. I think the Yamato 1/60 are much better that the Bandais. But I guess to each his own. I think the Yamato are much better than the MPCs, though.

I got mine mostly on Ebay. I got my 2nd Low vis from Big Bad Toy Store. Other macross stuff came from my local comic store.

I feel the pain. Believe I do. Wait till they get the VF-1J Max and Millia. And if they are FAST packed, oh boy... Good thing I have OT these past weeks.

If that is the case, great. My wallet needs a definite rest. I just bought another Low vis.

Look, I am talking bad about the 1/60s. They are not bad at all. It is that I dont need all these valks. Space is a premium. And I like the bigger 1/48s due to details. I mean, I love my 1/60 TRU cannon fodder. It is that right now I am thinking conservatively on money. Sure if money is no object, hell I would buy them. But I am saving for a house. (I dunno how, when I am buying transformers (reissues), old GI Joes, MPC Alphas, Destroids, etc, and now this new Athlon computer I am building ). Right now it isnt practical. The 1/60s gets dropped and 1/48s get priority. In some ways, I think the MPCs sucked compared to the 1/60s, but I bought them. I stopped buying the 1/60 and now I am going to sell/trade some of them off except the Cannon fodder one.

Common Repair Questions.

Nope. My name is Greg. I read these forums and decided to finally register to complain about my Yamato 1/48. I could complain about the "Masterpiece" Collection from Toynami but I digress.

.. is that I bought 7 1/60 Yamato VFs. Then later to find out that that Toynami made the MC VFs. And those arent that great. So I buy 2 Ricks, 2 Bens, 2 Maxs, 1 Roy and 1 Miriya. I decided to stop buying two of everything after Ben except for Max due to QC problems. I got the fast packs for miriya, 2 max, and 1 Rick. Those aint bad.

Then find out the 1/48s by Yamato comes out... I wish I found out sooner before I bought the 1/60s except for the TRU one. I mean I love the 1/48 b/c of the detail and such... I think it is a conspiracy to rob me of my money. Anyways, I liuke the low vis... I want another one. DRYL ones are fine but I am glad I did not buy the 1/60 Milla and Max VF-1J ones yet when I saw the 1/48s. If what i am reading on this board is correct, I cannot wait to get two of Max VF-1J. I hope they will super VF-1Js as well.

Howdy, Yes I am newbie on this board. Don't get too excited. Well, I bought the Roy's VF-1S from Yamato and I got some problems with it. After much research, I know that the skull on the right tail is crooked and the canopy refuses to stay up. Anybody have the problem with the front landing gear white piece that suppose to go to the catapult? Mine is completely loose and I can pull it off and back on. Now my low vis is just absolutely perfect but trying to find another one is absolutely impossible to find esp on ebay. Anything I can do to fix the darn thing?
