The Japanese 1S usually seems to go for anywhere from $75 to $125 on Ebay...Ive seen them go higher...and with all the paperwork and stickers to make it MIB maybe $150.

(THANKS KEVIN! ) Must say...Grahams review was spot on...its a nice set...and as someone who doesn't "play" with his toys but rather displays them I'm happy to have it....but the crotch piece is ludicrously loose...and the legs drop out if I sneeze while in the same room. Ahh well...Hey Yamato! You better beg Graham to come back and do your QC!

Ive always had good luck with Hobbyfan. The one kit I got from them was well done...and I have not heard any serious complaints before about them.

....and finally Youll notice the landing gear looks like resin..it is..but there is a wire embedded in it to help hold the kits weight. This kit is also pretty heavy...lot of solid large resin parts...not as bad as the 21...but big. Anyways...I think I have decided to build mine in flight blasting past my 1-48 VF1 display....all in all it's a perty bird!!! Hope you enjoy!

Now...I took these parts...and in less then 20 minutes I hot glued the whole thing together! LOL!!!! I grabbed my wifes crafter gun and slapped it all together. I wanted to see what it would look like, and I wanted to see the size..but I wasnt ready to really start fitting things. Luckily, the whole kit is pegged together, and they fit pretty well right out of the molds, so it was fairly easy to takc together. I would have finished 5 minutes sooner, but it dropped off the spray can and I had to redo the right side! Anyways..please be aware the gaps and slight angle errors would be fixed on a real build with real glue..this was just a mockup for those who wanted to see it.

Well...finally got a bit of time and got going....Here are some pictures first of all the pieces. Please be aware during this first picture the pieces are still warm...they are literally right out of the molds...I rubbed off some light flash and used some model dikes to cut sprues but that is it. No sanding, no fitting, no putting...these are "virgin" parts. This is all of the kit except for the canopy, shield, and head laser. MSLZ22 has these parts...and I just need to hook up with him to get them....

Is the difference the new kit has the 1J and 1S heads and decals?
