Very sweet!

Very nice work. Especially impressive considering how tiny those buggers are!
-
I love the pilots coming later....very cool idea...I smell a scene in the making!
-
Cool! With the Monster coming out I'd love to see a heavy artilery build-up, as well as a chance to get some ideas for a tank for my diorama. Mods, please consider leaving thread for buildup.
Thanks!

The 1/48 is gorgeous...but if you have 5 I'd go with the MPC's...they are nice for what they are.

Gorgeous! Simply Gorgeous!

On another note...anyone notice that HLJ doesn't have a BSG catagory anymore and the Konami figures are listed as discontinued? I sure hope my order made it out the door!

awesome display piece. how many hours did it take to complete?
it took me about 2 weeks...I'd guess close to 40 hours..but thats a guess...I didn't keep track and worked a lot of "Ill just put in an hour" shifts that turned into 4 or 5 hours (at 3 or 4 in the morning! ) Iwas also spending a lot of time messing with it though...it will go faster next time.

I think it would be a bear....lot of rebuilding parts so they could collapse...I'm just building my cruiser mode and being happy with that.

Thanks....not far away now....

Thanks GreatMoose and Smiley!

He is still selling them though. He just recently had an auction for a 1/144 Monster plastic kit where the description included a promised recasted 1/100 Pod.
Here is the link:
"But Wait!! If you click buy it now.. You will get another bonus item from our stock!! You will get Pod Fighter Resin Recast!! That use by Zentraedi force in Macross robotech serie!! Can not find in plastic kit!! Why you will let this great chance go? Let's Rock!! All warrior!!"
Thats just lame and low.

Thanks for sharing the pictures Carl and "the owner" Much appreciated. I wonder, should this go in the toys or models section?
-
Anybody heard any news about toys and/or models coming of the updated designs?
Graham
Thought I responded to this...sorry...
There is a 1/24 and 1/48 MKII Viper due out any day now. (resin Garage) A 1/72 MkII is also coming soon. All of these have pictures of complete patterns (or nearly so) and are not vaporware. There are also early shots of a 1/24 Raider...
I have not seen any toys yet...(hopefully yet! )
Jesse, do you have any pictures or links to these kits? I recently ordered a custom studio scale garage kit from someone over at Replica prop forums. Along with your studio scale kit . Are you refering to that kit....I believe the makers name is Frank.
Chris
Sure...the 1/24th MK2 Im aware of is from the RPF
The 1/24 Raider is also:
The 1/48 Viper MKII is from Alfred and on SciFi Models...(Ive heard rumors but no pics of a 1/48 Raider)
Rob's a nice guy at SciFiModels. Tell him I sent you...
and heres the 1/72 MK2...they also say they will be doing a Raider

Can't wait to see more.

Please do. Would you consider sharing pictures of the kit for the models section? I'd love to add an SMT section.

sure would be nice.

I'd love to see more Macross II stuff. If you like the 2SS you may want to check out the VF2J! Very cool, and not currently available in 1/72 in battroid or fighter.
I have the 1/100 kits of the VF2J Fighter and Battroid and the 1/100 kits of the VF2SS Battroid and variable Fighter, as well as the 1/72 VF2SS if any of these would be a help.

I have 3 of their sabers and the SNowspeeder. All of them are VERY nice. The sabers in particular are gorgeous.

Big Question.
Poseable or Fixed?
Poseable would be limited , nothing like the big boys can produce .
Fixed would be in a action pose. nothing stiff.
I'm cool with either, but I would lean toward fixed. I just seem to find that I don't move my models ...so if its a good pose I'd be fine with it...course if you make it poseable I can always build it fixed. Price would (I think) end up being a big deciding factor.

SWEET!
I'm in!
