  1. I somewhat agree with Abombz. While most people here are mature enough to deal with it, there are a few people that drool like 16-yr olds at the hot girls while insulting the not-so-hot girls. That might be because there are some teenagers on the boards. :) I don't think posting men cosplay causes much of a problem.

Since there are active cosplay threads going on now, let me say that anyone caught insulting a member that posts their own cosplay pics will likely be banned. You can critique the costume in general, but absolutely under no circumstances can you critique the person otherwise.

  2. Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm actually a professional graphic artist in the video game industry (like Ruak), but I rarely have time for personal artwork anymore. I haven't drawn one thing since this one.

  3. Cosplay threads soon turn into a few things that force the mods to close them. When a female member was literally insulted (unrightly so) after posting a pic of herself in cosplay, I think the mods became very nervous about having any cosplay threads.

  4. It is widely accepted by most companies that fan projects can be sold in small quantities with no legal action taken. Look at WonderFest in Japan, and most garage kits that are available abroad. He should be able to finish it and sell it by himself without fear of being sued by HG.

But to do this, he would have to make each one himself. Quite a lot of work. If he he was looking into a company making them, then it would fall outside the fan custom region and into a company product.

His original plan was to tool and manufacture about 50 of them by himself, I believe.

  5. Radd, that was my thread. Hehe. Go figure, I just contradicted myself.

I firmly DO believe that DYRL 1984 and DYRL 2032 are two different movies, just very similar. I was disagreed with by nearly everybody, so I've conformed to just calling it "a movie within the timeline" so there isn't too much confusion whenever the topic comes up. I have no evidence to back it up other than there are extra scenes in the 2032 version.

  6. Perhaps. Except the movie came out in 2032 I believe, which is long before Macross7's events. I guess he could have had that appearance in 2032. I'd have to look into it to see when he remacronized himself.

I don't think the story goes like this:

Exedol looked normal and had hair in 2010-12, but then his hair fell out, skin turned green, eyes turned blue, and his skull expanded from the pressure of his throbbing brain in the next 20 years.
