This doesn't come up often; a v2 TV Brownie. Yen 16k in stock as of posting:

VF-31J with Speakerpod, BIB for only Yen 18,000. This actually renders the original 31J release obsolete, as it includes both the weapon & speaker pods.

I scored that Brownie. But I noticed that the night it went up it was out of stock already. Checked a few hours laters and was back in stock. Got the invoice mail for it a few minutes ago.

  2. As far as I know those colors accents are from DYRL. Like the color on the arrows on the head. TV are black but DYRL are color for each pilot. Max, Roy or Hikaru.

^Here hi metal TV series Hikaru and DYRL Hikaru VF-1S.

My DX VF-1S Hikaru has a red circle and TV Roy unpainted.

Maybe in some stage of the prototype it was meant to be a DYRL Roy.

  3. Shin VF-0A with ghost booster

Index around 6:43 in the last chapter if you are curious.

To my liking, the most badass looking VF fighter mode before the Frontier super bulky VF-25 armor and super variants.

I really hope Bandai has a release planed for the booster. And a Shin 0A.

There are only 3 releases in that shade of white so far (that I know). The Hikky VF-1S and VF-1J and the VF-0.

The insane part? Despite being a partsformer, it still uses the same arms in all modes, and they don't suck.  Seriously, Bandai.. the arms on your DX SUCK.  They should be SO MUCH BIGGER.

It seems the legs won't go inside in fighter mode. It has plenty of room to accommodate the arms.

The biggest problem with the 21 is to cram the bulky legs inside a very thin fighter belly.

Even at the stage of development it is the fighter mode is an absolute chonk.

Not mine, an artist essentially gave the ship in Starfox 64 the HD treatment.  They extracted the in-game model (all 200 polygons or so of it, given it's a 1995-ish design), then rebuilt it into a kit using box art and publicity renders as a reference.

    Essentially took this:
    ss(2023-09-17at12_57.30).jpg.1515f1bf1617949b0a641dbd6ea44928.jpg

    Extrapolated the details from this:
    ss(2023-09-17at12_58.50).jpg.2e0acc5951f690b024db283887f4cbfc.jpg

And turned it into this. ^_^

I'm going to eventually print the whole large model, which has linked swing wings, and several optional parts attached with magnets, but for the moment I'm more focused on a more manageable model that's about 60% of that size, and without some of the fancier features.  I still want to make the wings swing though.

The nerd in me seriously wants to build a stand that mounts into the engine, and will slowly roll the model while playing the menu music.

Woah! That's so cool. It really takes me back to my N64 gamer days.

i was real lucky to not have mine be broken, Missing one of those high speed missiles that look like a diamond though.... opened the bottom plastic carton and it just flew across the room and i never found it again.

Didn't knew those missiles had an integrated fold booster...

That's completely worth it, you could just cut a new laser out of sheet plastic, don't even need something as fancy as printing.

Cool. I bite the bullet. 43000 yen. I think it is the lowest I have seen it.
