  1. I've decided I don't much like this color scheme and will hold out and take my chances on a CF version.

I've had it out of the box and displayed in fighter mode since I got it. It's 100% complete, never been transformed. I did a very light panel line job on it using a mechanical pencil. Easily removed if you so desire.

Asking $210.00 190.00 $175.00 shipped (in the continental US).

  3. So...uhhh....I did it again....

Anyone looking for one? BBTS processed my VF-171 order but I already got one from HLJ.

AGAIN...I need to move this FAST. If my wife finds out, she'll chop my nuts off.

My cost is $219.18 shipped to me. I can turn around and ship it straight on to someone else, but I gotta make my money back or the aforementioned nut chopping will happen.

I'm not trying to gouge here, I can provide proof of my cost and I am not charging a single red cent more than that plus the cost to ship it from me to you.

    Drop me a PM.

  4. So, here's my Otakon 2012 Tenjin story:

I'm the Co-Head of the Panels Department for Otakon. So, Saturday morning, I'm sitting in Panel Ops along with my wife and daughter (who was cosplaying Ranka) and I look over and see Tenjin san standing there. I then realize that his handler is tapping my wife on the shoulder and asking if they can take a pic of her. I quickly ran around to the other side and got this pic...

Awesome to say the least that he wanted a pic of my kid cosplaying Ranka!

Later that day, I got to his autograph session and got this one...

I asked his translator why there was a single Spitfire pic in the first Valkyries book, to which Tenjin replied that every pic in that book has a meaning Macross-wise. Now I want to go back and look at it again.

He was very outgoing, spoke a little English even. And shook everybody's hand after their autograph. Not just the offhand kinda thing, but the handshake where he sandwiches your hand between both of his. All in all, a very nice guy.

  5. Picked mine up today. Here are some thoughts after the first 15 minutes:

    • I like the stand, they kept a similar design to the SMS bases. It also locks into the stand in three different places in fighter mode. Guess they were worried about stability?
    • Smaller than I thought - at least in fighter mode.
    • Reminds me of a Legioss (Alpha) fighter.
    • SOLID little bugger in fighter mode. Nary a squeak or part that doesn't seem locked in tight.
    • While the gunpod does not collapse, it does attach to the fighter in TWO places, making it very stable.

So far, a very nice toy.
