Thanks!! Sorry but at this stage 1/60 ver is not on the agenda since Yamato has released the perfect v2. Most of the components in this VF-1E are designed particularly for 1/48 valks, such as the engine top connection sockets and leg shell. I will see whether I have time to do a 1/60 version after I clean my current projects at hand.
Thanks! I hope you get around to it. The 1/60 v2 VE-1's are nearing unobtanium status, and since Yamato has seen fit to release unpainted VF kits, I bet these would go together and sell very well since there are lots of folks who missed out on the VE-1's.

LOL, I didn't get why you said that until I saw the "Crane Style" pose. I'm not a fan of this (or many) of the overly gaudy Mac 7 valks, but this one seems to be a real gem in terms of poseability.

This looks really cool. Is there a possibility of a scaled down version for the 1/60 v2 Valkyries? This may help fill the gap for those of us who missed out on the VE-1.

Don't panic guys, it will be an assembled toy.

Uh oh....we know what that means. Time to sell a kidney if you're interested in this one...

Indeed, PG Gundam kits are where it's at. I was locked in combat with the PG GP01 for two entire days during which I skipped SLEEP to finish it. However, I gotta say the 1/3000 SDF-1 is no slouch in that department either. Not so much the construction as the incredible amount of tiny details that you should be beaten repeatedly if you overlook during assembly.
Anyhoo, back on VF-17 topic...

Despite it being pricey, you could release the parts a few at a time through a Shapeways store. Doesn't cost you anything, and it would allow interested parties to buy it a bit at a time to offset the cost. You'll still have to prototype the parts you've designed and make sure they fit etc but that's part of the joy of being the guy who designs the thing

I can't believe that this is almost done!! A true labor of love that I've watched take shape for years now. I salute you for having the wherewithal to stick this one out. I don't think I could ever be that dedicated.

Argh...why am I liking this now?

Right now, it's a check in the "possible" column for me. Without cockpit and pilot details it isn't doing much for me. And I hate the opaque canopy.

Up for sale is a 1/60 VF-22 Gamlin. It has never been transformed out of fighter mode, and displayed only. I have the box and all accessories.
It's been displayed on one of the new Flexi displays and I have checked, there is no sign of damage from the flexi. It's pristine!
Asking $130.00 shipped (continental US)
PM if interested. Thanks for looking!

Status Update
No more off-white hinges.
No more bright-white hinges.
Crap. Guess my VF-1J's going up for sale as custom fodder.
Thanks Yamato

PM returned - Still available.

I bought this from a member here a couple of years ago. It's in good shape overall. The legs have cracks in the joint section that comes out of the upper thigh area but they have been repaired and are solid. It has replacement arms and a replacement head (both installed). The original (repaired) arms and head (shortened head laser) are included.
All in all, it's good to go if you want to leave it as is, or use it for a custom job.
SOLD!
PM if interested, and thanks for looking!

Bump - $20.00 shipped I'm never going to use these.

This has been collecting dust on my shelves for the last couple of years. Great model but I'd rather use some cash for other shiny objects.

PM'd about VF-0S.
Also - Seconded about prices. Please post them!

Are the flightpose stands the newer style or the older style models?
-
Really? No one?
How about $30.00 shipped?

Bump - still available...

OK, I've edited the topic title to hopefully clear up the confusion about it being a TOY.
