Can't believe how much the Martian Successor Nadesico is like the original Macross SDF in some ways. Like having a singing and swimsuit idol contest on board the Nadesico space battle fortress amidst an alien attack. Yurika singing like Minmay. Her supposed boyfriend (Akito) is a pilot of a Aestivalis mecha.

Hopefully, no pineapple episodes here.

The 1:18 Back to the Future 3 Delorean (by Sun Star) is a fine item, but the railroad base that came with it was poorly made. It looked too much like a plastic base stand that it is.

This started a small project to build a custom railroad track base that was more realistic that would also fit into my Detolf case. The rails are from the display, but the wooden ties are made with real wood. Scale correct ballast was used for the roadbed. So...it's ready to go back to October 27th, 1985!

Not going to judge this until it comes out. But I don't expect it to surpass the original version. I wonder if the SUX2000 car is still available....

Started watching Martian Successor Nadesico. Their space federation is United Earth Spacy (UE Spacy) . Seems to have elements from Macross, Evangelion, and Gundam mixed in with some comedy. It's enjoyable so far.

That Boomer kit is so rare. But so are the Atelier Sei Knight Saber figures. I only have the Sylia fig.

Blood-C was a gore filled show. Not for those who can't stand seeing limbs removed in the most super graphic ways, like in Elfen Lied.

Started watching Maria Holic Alive (Season 2). This gets more crazier and more yuri parody than Season 1.

Started watching Excel Saga.

Confusing..yes. Funny....yes. The show does not make an ounce of sense, but you can't help but to continue watching it. Excel and Hyatt are a good team.

Maybe it's the pose, but the upper arms and shoulders seem a bit smaller than they should be.

If Tesla really wants the electric car to take off they should take their battery replacement the next step. Tesla should own all the batteries and allow people to just buy the cars. Then Tesla needs to install their charger stations everywhere and let people do these battery swaps for a $60 battery lease fee. You can keep the battery as long as you want, charge it at home, or come back and swap it out for another $60 battery lease fee. As soon as your old battery is removed it starts getting charged and is given to the next person that rolls in. It would make their cars cheaper and people wouldn't have that fear of their batteries losing capacity over time.

I was thinking of the same thing. Just charge the customer that wants to swap the battery a small fee and let them keep it as long as they want. Just return it for a new one and a new rental charge will be applied. It will be like Redbox rental for car batteries. That way, customers are not required to pickup their old battery.

Hopefully, this Star Wars reboot will be filmed on more "real" sets and on location instead of the infamous green screen.

Hope they come out of with some new mecha instead of just reusing the Legioss and Tread design. Even Macross has moved on beyond VF-1 a long time ago.

I think we are all spoiled by Yamato's 1/60 v.2 VF-1s. Like others said, the boxart is very good.

Maybe Bandai should have consulted with Hasegawa on VF model kits.

What's going on with the 171 price? That seems high for an opened and damaged box item.
