  1. Thanks, I watched a couple vids on YT of how the VF22 models transformed and I decided to make the lower leg covers separate 'pods' that will hold a SRM launcher and a missile hdpt bay. The internal dorsal launcher was reduced by half as before I had them all in one big launcher.

  2. I registered a little while ago but haven't posted much. I've been working on doing up Macross mecha in Mekton over the years I thought I'd toss up what I have and let you guys look it over and nitpick :D Be sure to read my notes please.

Question, have VF-22s ever used FAST Packs in one of the series? I haven't seen Frontier or the spin off movies.

ETA_ Instead of linking to specific documents I'm sharing the folder so I don't have to keep updating the links when I make a revision

  3. Greetings, I was reviewing Episode 24, Showdown, and the number of missiles fired by the VF-1 Super piloted by Hikaru.

Starting at 8:19 into the episode, he first fires a volley of about 16 missiles (2 groups of 8) from the dorsal boosters.

The second volley at 8:29 launches at least 6 pairs of missiles from each arm pack, plus another 12-16 (in groups of 4) from the dorsal boosters. It gets difficult to tell since he is rolling 180* and then the missles cross in front of the camera.

Going by the animation, the boosters have at least 32 missiles total, probably more (up to 48), the arm pods have at least 12 missiles each. Force of Arms also shows Max and Miriya fire at least 32 missiles from their boosters.

The reason I suggest there would be still more missiles in the boosters is because he would otherwise be completely out of missiles, yet they felt he still had enough firepower to escort the shuttle alone.

    What do you think?
