And how long will this preparation take?  My two Figuarts Yoda and Iron Man figures have been hanging out in prep for three days now.

Could be a couple days, could be a week or more.

  2. N-Y is probably just taking their time calculating how much more they’ll charge for shipping on top of what was already paid.

Armor pack is just too much in fighter mode, can it even fly?

Probably much the same way that the Armored VF-25S “flew”; gerwalk mode only.

Nice pic saburo! Automatically arad is the outstanding one there...i do wish bandai would come out with supers for arad.

Maybe his Supers will be after Chuck’s, which will probably be next after the Armor comes out.

I’m more interested in what that hole implies. That’s a screw hole, which implies that there’s something that the strike cannon is screwed into. Which in turn means that either the strike cannon screws on (unlikely, since it’s swappable with the super), or the swappable section goes much further back into the booster than the Yamato/Arcadia/HMR ones.

It looks more like that’s the track for the stop peg, to keep the cannon from going too far foreword.

is this the same glossy finish as the other Frontier valks?

    Probably.

If I remember correctly, the finish comes from the molding. Bandai isn’t likely going to redo the molds like that so the finishes will match with the newer figures.

  7. The tolerances for getting those hands stowed is ridiculously tight. After seeing some other troubles with the thumbs accidentally shearing off, I just stopped leaving the hands on when I put the figure into fighter mode. Unlike the 31 where the back of the hands become a visible panel under the wings, these hands are completely hidden, so nothing is lost taking them off.
