I think I'll be done with just 2 of the 31's, but we'll see if/when they get around to Chuck's or the 31a..

Mine came in yesterday afternoon, and I stayed up way too late playing with it. Took my time getting it into gerwalk, haven't gone further yet.

Definitely happy with my purchase, I'll be ordering the Lil' Drakens after I get paid next.

Robot Damashii God Gundam option set came in today!  I've had the figure since it originally released, but didn't want to deal with the trouble of P-Bandai when the accessories were first offered.  I eventually forgot about it until last week, when I found it cheap on a random eBay search.

$40 for a P-Bandai item two years after release at 3780yen, yes please!

It's a Tamashii Stage 4, found it at Barnes and Noble. The packaging says it's for humanoid, but the attachments are all the same.

I love the couch, and did a literal happy dance when I got confirmation that the figure was coming with it.

Replaced one back shortly after they came out, forgot what website it was that offered it, it's been a few years, and the other didn't explode quite as much.

Found out about the Arcadia releases too late, plus bad timing with finances, I'd love to get my hands on the VF-0D, or either of the other two.

Got my first Detolf (first time in Ikea, was a bit of an adventure), got it assembled and filled up with my small, but growing, collection of premium figures.

I really want the eventual Nora version, but I'll probably pick this one up too, just in case something happens and her's doesn't come out.

Preordered Mikumo and Freyja, probably gonna end up with the whole group, since five Walkure members are substantially cheaper than DX Delta Platoon.

Should snag the Mirage Figurarts Zero too...

I must remain strong for the sake of my wallet. I don't need another DX VF-31 until Mirage's comes out.

Must resist the temptation to complete Delta Platoon by buying toys I don't really want........

Mine also arrived just before Christmas, was really surprised at the speed of delivery, I was expecting it to get slowed down with all the holiday traffic.

First Bandai DX, and won't be the last. I've got the -262 on preorder, and even though I'm not a fan of the color scheme, I'm feeling quite tempted by the upcoming preorder for the -31F. I really just want to get the eventual -31C, for a psuedo Max/Milia set.

Definitely snagging the Super parts next weekend after I get paid.

It's been a while since I've posted in this thread, so here's some late thoughts.

1/72 Sv-262Hs:

Fighter mode has a powerful bearing to it. Kinda stubby looking and really thick, but has a profile like that of an arrowhead. While the -31 is sleek and elegant, the -262 is powerful and forceful.

Something I wasn't expecting were the sliding hinges on the landing gear bays (no experience with the VF-25 kits, and the -31 has it's own style of landing gear).

Bits and pieces all lock together well in all modes, for the most part.

Minor issues with the transformation mechanisms: The hips are mounted on a ball joint, mounted on a two separate swivels, which can make getting them where they need to be troublesome, mostly when getting into and out of fighter mode.

The chest assembly for Battroid mode is made up of several layers of rotating bits and hinges, can be a bit bothersome getting them to all work together properly, but nothing too major.

Stickers aren't quite as egregious as the -31's large swathes of color, but have their own issues. Lots of bits of gold trim, made with thin, slightly stretchy stickers. They warp way to easily. Tolerances on the shield/stabilizer is tight enough that the stickers will interfere with the folding up.

Slightly more partsformy than the -31, since they couldn't get the hands to fit in fighter mode and the inclusion of a chest filler piece, though there's a spot to stow the filler bit in fighter mode.

Overall, I'm a fan and currently have the Lil' Drakken set in my PW, waiting to ship with the DX VF-31J

I will probably be picking up a copy of the eventual release of the standard version.

Quick question, were there two different reaper emblems used at various points in the series? I remember one looking like an actual skull, but another was actually a valkyrie's head instead.

Yeah, there was Messer's emblem, with the skull and scythe, then Hayate's replacement 31J had a winged knight helmet emblem, along with black added to it's blue trim.

If it's like the Drakken's release, they'll be back in stock within a week or so.

I've got a preorder for the VF-31J coming, so I can live without it.

It's a figure I'm really sad about missing. I wasn't really following Macross when it came out, and didn't know it existed until I got back in with all the Delta pre-hype.

Would have snagged one this morning had I not come across the Legacy Ninja Megazord last night.

It is a very chunky, thick fighter. Comparing the 1/72 kits, it just comes off as more beefy and powerful than the 31, which feels much more elegant and refined.

It looks like the only DX on the table is the fighter on the stand.

The fighter mode sitting on the table is the model kit, it has two slots in the side of he leg, which is probably for the missile launchers.

The gerwalk sitting there is also probably the kit, the arm assembly and hand look like the model's as well.

The battroid is too far away and the picture too small to be sure, but like the gerwalk, the hands look to belong to the kit also.

Beautiful figure. Everything holds together wonderfully, nothing floppy or bothersome.

Smaller than I realized it would be, particularly compared to my VF-0A. I knew it was a smaller plane, I just didn't think it was that much smaller.
