Official Review of the Macross F 2025 concert. Some parts of it is misleading as it is talking about Day 1 especially towards the end.

May'n costume - White gown, Blue Military, Sexy strap, Pink coverall and lastly Sheryl inspired costume from the 1st Movie.

My Review will be more from the perspective of viewing from the cinema.

Meanwhile at Aomori....... Something different at 4.06-4.10

Wow, looks like it was an epic concert.  it would have been a dream come true to be able to attend.  May'n even wore some Sheryl costumes.  Amazing! 🤩

  2. Very sorry to hear.  Apparently she was 53.  Too soon. RIP.

From my understanding she was not only a voice actor, but a singer as well. But if remember correctly, she voiced the Mylene character, but didn't sing the songs?  Do I have that right?

  3. I couldnt tell from the latest update how big the standee will be.   Had to go back and look it up.  Originally he was proposing 2 options a 1/10 scale at $20 or a 1/6 scale at $30 plus shipping.  He mentions on the latest update that the standee is $30 including shipping.  So, I wonder will the standee be 1/10 ($20+$10 shipping)?  Or, is he giving us a break and it will be 1/6 at $30 shipped?

Edit: I asked the question on Kickstarter. The standee will be 1/10 scale at around 6.5"

Well since the two figures by the tent, look about the same size as the others, I'm sure they will fit!

Did anyone notice the Minmaii is holding a helmet?

And Hikaru and Misa are holding hands. 🥰

I can totally see myself place an LED light inside the tent to relive the bow chicka wow wow scene from the movie.

IIRC, they don't get it on until after they play house in the sunken city.

  6. Out of curiosity why are some of you guys rushing to buy this knowing that there's a good possibility that the leg joint will explode?  Having read through the thread I didn't come across anyone mentioning that it has been fixed on this upcoming release.  It's what prevented me from buying it the first time around.

  7.

I noticed they're up for pre-order on Amazon US.  I wonder if they'll have any kind of price reduction at some point?  Ranka's listing has the release year as "2025"  I assume it's a typo.

I drew the line at these SD valks, but something tells me I’m gonna regret not getting them in coming years…

I wanted to get at least the Frontier valks, but I had to prioritize some things this month to stay within my toy budget.  There're just other things I wanted more these days.  Hopefully they'll be available a month or 2 from now, and I'll pick them up then.

  9. I'm at a point in my life where I need to spend more time enjoying what I have and less time going on the hunt.  Personally, I think the internet, in several ways, pretty much killed the hunt.

Ok, you win. It's perfectly line art accurate. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I think some of us didn't catch what you meant the first time.  You said "main guns" so I took it as the four big guns on the side.  Apparently you meant the main gun, as in the front part of the ship that splits apart to fire the main cannon.  It's one big gun.

  11. I did find it cool that they were advertising product before the movie.  Hopefully, some people discovered merch they didn't know about before.

I think the biggest let down for me personally was the sound in my theater.  It should have felt like being in a concert.  Instead it felt like I was watching it at home with the TV speakers and the sound turned down so as not to wake up the family.

  12. While I was glad to see the Frontier movie in a theater, the movie theater yet again screwed things up a bit.  They didn't have the sound going for most of the pre-movie content.  For some reason they didn't dim the lights as they normally would for the entire viewing.  I even had to close the doors to the auditorium myself.  The sound only seemed to be coming from the front speakers, so I guess it was only in stereo.  A lot of the song scenes sounded muffled/muted, so it didn't have as much impact as it normally would.  I might make pre-emptive move and talk to the manager prior to the view of the 2nd movie.
