HURIN IS MY GOD! I'm so glad that you are going to be working on a subtitle project for the remastered DVD. I never had a chance to pick up the original R2 release.

The subtitles burn fine for me due to Hurin's tutorial with the new DVD. You just gotta point to the "new" audio file in DVD Lab. It's just the subtitle timing does not correspond to the HD remaster DVD.

I'm not so sure that the original Bandai R2 subtitles will work for this. It seems like there's ~3 seconds more before the first lines are spoken. I think it might have something to do with the fact that the original DVD was something like 24 frames per second running at 30 FPS. But then again like Kyle Reese "I don't know tech stuff."

Any word of anyone doing a re-timing of the subtitles for the new DVD release? Or have a post about a do it yourself fix?
