My first release Alto has not yellowed at all, though his shoulders are fairly loose.

<shudder>
These trips through the uncanny valley just leave me feeling crawly.
EDIT: Boo, never mind. Story was fake. Still. Creepy robots can only mean bad news.

Its too bad that it doesnt have reversed knee joints for gerwalk

While I'm ordinarily all about space winnebagos/RVs (love my SOC Xabungle, Ideon, and Daimos), I'm not as much a fan when they aren't actually part of the robot mode. Trailers don't get space on my shelf - I simply don't have room, so if they're going to live in the box in a closet anyway, I don't mind missing out on them.
Hopefully Hasbro doesn't turn their release a horrifying "cartoony" pastel red or anything, though, like they did with the last release of MP Optimus.
-
The latest Collector's Club magazine confirms that MP Rodimus is being released in the US. But without the trailer.
I'm 100% okay with this.

I still can't forgive Mazda for putting the huge grin in the front for its current cars. Hopefully this is just a short fad. Like real short!
Don't hate!
I love my Mazda

oh thank you, uxi
i thought making toys and a new animation production would be really hard

I had a hell of a time getting my car in a manual when I was car shopping after a run-in with a Ford F450. A dealer had to get a car driven over from another dealer in a neighboring state just to find me one. It was a bit ludicrous.

If the previous kits are any indication, between 1500 and 2000 yen. There's no actual announcement date (other than 2011) so the price hasn't been set yet. The other D-style kits are nice and pretty cheap, though small. Some parts come pre-painted.

I just ordered the Albion Composite Version Ka.
Not sure if this thing is metal. I saw only one review on youtube which looked pretty good. I really like this mech. I dont think I will ever see this in the SOC line or any of the other SOC sub lines!
It's all plastic. It's basically a slightly-larger and more expensive Robot Damashii with worse QC. Frankly, I hate mine. It spent about 10 minutes out of the box before going right back in. The paint quality is questionable, bits fall off, joint tightness is all over the place, there's nasty sprue cut scars all over the guns, and the hands are on soft rubber ball joints that make me nervous pulling them on and off.

That looks awesome. Really hope this is easily obtainable in NA
For us fans sake, pls Yamato don't make this an exclusive, we love you !
I will definitely buy this if it is available to those of us in NA. That looks incredible and I'd love to see it next to some of the 1/60 V2's.
Then that's truly unfortunate. I'm sorry. You'd better contact a third party dealer and open a new bank loan.

After the Light Missile Regult, the Glaug is the next Macross vinyl!!!!

Oh god yes.
Been waiting for this for ... I dunno... 10? 15 years?

More Gunbuster merch!
D-style model kit from Kotobukiya. Cute. It'll make a nice companion to my older Banpresto diecast version
-
Nice. 1/6th scale weapons, I assume?
I was also happy to note when I got my 1/24 Ingram that the loosest part of the joint was actually the ratchet joint (so don't shake the patlabor ) - the ball joints are super tight. I even had the "fix" guide printed out off the Yamato site and everything.
-
Yes, I don't have any pictures handy, but the MP Seekers are actually larger than the 1/60 V2 Valkyries in Jet mode, while being shorter in robot mode.
-
old new guy here & im trying to rekindle my passion for Macross once again
so i have a little request.
do you guys have a comparison pictures side by side of any Yamato 1/48 or 1/60v2 with MPC Starscream?
Will a 1/60 V2 with MPC Skywarp do?
-
Probably the only figure with less representation in models and toys is the Phantom, which is a pity, because it's a really cool design . I'd love for CM's to make one, even if it was part of their crappy, break-when-you-try-to-move-it plastic labor line .
-
Couldn't resist the 1/24 Yamato on sale. Also noticed Bandai is going to release more Patlabor on Blu-ray: the two OVA's and the TV series.
I hope someone picks up the OVA release rights in North America . The original OVA's are the only Patlabor I don't own on DVD and the aftermarket prices are, for lack of a better word, criminal.

I have no idea what you're talking about...
-
I think, considering the concerns many have, this picture is worth pointing out:
look ma, no stand!
-
Well, since you brought it up... ???
I don't know if/when I'll ever get around to seeing that film.
You could say ... he decides she's not cut out to be his wife. It's a pretty dicey situation overall, but it does a shockingly good job of demonstrating Idi's got the chops to be a real villain.
Puns aside, what makes it much worse is that it's pretty much what actually happened to her in real life
