  1. I just wanted to say, this is exactly how I feel about Sheryl. She didn't even want to rest even if the travel was taking a toll on her, which in my opinion, is a sign of professionalism/diligence. In one of the subs, there were direct orders that said, "Don't let anything happen to her (Sheryl)" and that the implications are bad should anything bad happen to her. It would be more stupid of her not to know that she should let other people do the job. She's just a singer anyway.
  2. Based on the ending credits, she composed Don't be late, What 'bout my Star, and rearranged Do you Remember Love
  3. For the meantime, I ripped Don't be late from the first episode, along with the voices This download link has both the one ripped by GGemini and the one played in the first episode, which are different versions. Listen to the rhythm section and you'll hear it. The one in the CM has real drums, the one in the episode has synth rhythm. That was the first thing I noticed listening to this version. Maybe the old CM one was a demo.
  4. http://www.macrossf.com/news.html I've previously posted about the contents of this macrossf news page, but now it's already changed. There's a note now that says thanks for the many accesses (downloads, I guess) for the song. Now, there would be another "Sagittarius, 9pm, Don't be late post-New Year present version" to be released January 16, 2008 at this website: http://recochoku.jp/service/anime.html Did anyone download the previous release of the song? Here's a cap of the news so that we have a copy before it gets changed again:
  5. Oh, I get it As for the love triangle, my guess is it will be Alto and Sheryl in the end. The angsty one and the tactless one. They should make an interesting couple
  6. When you said "No they aren't", they aren't what? I wasn't referring to Minmei, Hikaru or Misa. I am referring to the Frontier cast. Or maybe you were supposed to quote someone else? That's pretty much understandable, just look at the height difference between Ranka and Alto, plus the way they act!
  7. From this post: http://www.famitsu.com/anime/news/1212399_1558.html Translated by kresphy: Alto, 16 years old He was born in the lineage of Kabuki female role and has Pilot Genius, so he went against his father's wish and hopes to become a pilot. Ranka, 15 years old no new info Sheryl, 17 years old Cute appearance, on the contrary has high pride and bluntly chat with other people They're not too far apart...
  8. http://www.macrossf.com/news.html What do you guys make of this? The red text at the top looks like "Early New Year Present December 30 9pm Don't be Late". The yellow text at the bottom half says "Sagittarius, 9pm, Don't be late! (Take that Early New Year Version)". Take that is "Motteke" in Japanese, which is also part of the song lyrics. It looks like a limited edition mobile download of the song to be available here: http://recochoku.jp/fp/s_2050/ I could not understand what those times and dates at the bottom are for. Maybe the availability dates? Sorry, that's as far as my Japanese goes.
  9. Well we haven't had a glimpse of his family yet and how he views them so we could only guess. I have a pretty good hunch that he'll cut his hair. When that happens, I'll dance a jig
  10. From this link: http://www.famitsu.com/anime/news/1212399_1558.html Alto's family is not just a line of kabuki players. They're a line of male kabuki players dressed as females. That's probably how he got teased as "Hime/Princess", I wouldn't be surprised if his father was a queen in one play. Tee hee.
  11. I'm not nitpicking , but perhaps a reminder... it's Ozuma or Ozma.
  12. The last line should bear the title "Iteza Gogokyuuji Don't be late (Sagittarius, at 9pm, don't be late)" . They should have known that because the title of the song and the music staff to it is in the ending crawl.
  13. She was singing Japanese with a whole lot of English words spoken the Japanese way. I also think that her voice is a bit too throaty, I like Megumi Nakajima's voice better
  14. My vote goes to this one Maybe the future of cellphones are anti-sleek. Therefore, we get squeezable blobs that look like mousepad wrist supports. I'd love to have one too.
  15. I think it's because his mates were obsessing over her, and not taking their routine seriously. If you were so determined to be a pilot and you get delegated to do that kind of job, it could be a bit frustrating.
  16. But she's not really wearing them right? She's wearing a full body suit that projects the clothes, they don't need to get held up.
  17. You noticed too! It's on her left leg. I thought it was a scar that she didn't mind having.
  18. Wasn't there any info on Alto's family, that he comes from a line of Kabuki actors? Females who dress up as males? That's probably why he gets called "Hime". Poor guy. By the way, that's one crappy job Alto and gang have. Someone please do the subs
  19. The video doesn't play for me, only the audio plays EDIT: grammar
  20. Has anyone tried ear-listening for the lyrics? I can only make out the words "atashi no beating heart" (Engrish alert). Yes, I know, I don't know that much Japanese
  21. There are 10 songs there composed by Yoko Kanno, actually. That means she swept 10% of the list, making her the artist with the most number of songs from that list.
