  1. No Idon't have enough time to update my site... which is still under construction.

    my todolist:

    1. increase the lenght of the nosecone a bit.

    2. modeling the head with detail

    3. wings with double layer of paper.

    4. add detail on the backside in robotmode

    5. relocate the hinge of the backplate much further to

prevent jamming by the tailfins in robotmode

    6. shorten a bit the intakes, also it's width

    7. maybe it is possible to stick to the original leg transforming method.

I'm glad you like what you see here. I'll try my best to fisnish this little project.

Forgot to mention, I use this type of paper to make models. You can buy it from any office-shops:

It's satinated so it has a semi glossy layer.

  2. I've finished the whole thing.

Revaluate it and found a couple of things that can be improved.

Next step is to modify it and texturing for final version. :)

And ofcourse not to forget, his 2 laserguns.

The tailfins is a succes. They partially get hidden behind the backplate and wings. The wings won't be flat but are 2 layers of paper with some volume.

  3. Could anybody tell me where I can find the Legioss in fighter mode for download? the old link is dead... :(

Sorry my english... I´m from Argentina.

I've discontinued the old version of the legioss.

The arms transforms like takara's but with a slight difference.

I used lightwave for modeling and exporting to 3ds format.

For conversion and editing paperoutput I use pepakura designer.

The most comlicated part is to think and plan how something must transform with less material and without floppyness. The hardest part are the vertical tailfins. They get folded often unlike the static wings.

  4. I'm happy now..

Got the backplate and teh wings on. The backplate has a hatch in the middle, same like yamato's 1/48. The hatch also secures the folded wings in robot mode.

Made one leg and tested succesfully. Retraction and rotation is very secure and easy to make. Notice I've used the method like the legtransformation from a legioss... it's because of reducing width in robot mode and increasing in fightermode. On the backplate I've used a marker to point out where the areas can be improved to build Starscreams back as seen on TV.

So in fightermode it's all white and in robot mode it's partially red.

    woohoo!

  5. Well there are some season 1 and 2 episodes which stands out.

What's bothering me so much is, if they want a totally different story, they shouldn't use the name "miami vice" and all of it's casts.

At least put "miami vice III" or something.

  6. I'd bet if hasbro would remake G1 series with better animation and storyline, a total improvement of the G1 toys, they still got a big chance to pull off a huge success.

Ohh.. btw I noticed some new mixed crappy sound effects from the G1 dvd?

For example, during the "return after these messages" sequence of prime, when he shoots.. you hear a loud bang and at the end... a click.

That was awfully cheesy and it sounded like artillery fire and the click was like reloading the shell. It sounds very similar to a panzertank game, could be ripped from it.
