Xstoys should knwo this answer if the glue is cyanoacrylate. There is a solution that undoes super glue. but I dont what it is called. Its liek the exact opposite of Zip Kicker.
yeah, i saw i've seen it at a lot of hobby shops.
if it is this kind of super glue you are in luck

convertors kick ass!!!
i got a mini collection of those going on.
i remmeber back in the day i used to buy those at pic and save (now big lots).
if anyone has any of those weird bird, insect, etc.. ones that they want to sell i would be glad to buy it if i don't have it =D

long live the "cool thread" section.
but way way way toomany people abused it to bump up their post counts and post some really really irrelevant stuff that could be talked about on other forums.
i kinda miss it but would rahter have a faster MW.

MAX TV VF-1A
in Toys
nice work.
damn though....it takes me months and months to do one. probably cuz i can only work on it on the weekends.
a darker blue is actually more show accurate.
but i got my lighter paint from Rick the hunter because he had half a can left. he used a lighter color so the decals would show more.
-
awesome, october it is.
-
nope.
chris's heads are actually cleaned up version of custom head made by somone from hong kong.
the chris 1A is "fatter" than the stock 1A head when you look at it face first. and the antennae is a lot longer.
g/luck on the rest
-
reissues have different neck mounts.
if you use chris 1s, 1a, or 1d heads on a reissue you will have similar problems.
chris's heads were deisn'ed for jetfires.
you can swap in a jetfire neck mount or sand away!
and yeah, rob's head is waaaaaaayyyyy better than the fatty chris head. even the stock head looks better than that one, only thing it has going for it is the longer antennae

keep it up!
MPC style legs? (rotates at the thigh)
keep the 1/55s customs alive!
i know others are hard at work on their customs too..please post when done =D
-
1/55! =D
forget accuracy
forget detail
for me its all about nostalgia and toughness. the 1/55 is probably the most durable of all the toy valkyries.
-
just saw it with the gf..she loved it.
i thought some parts were very confusing.
but it was ok. much better than 28 days.
and now 2 movies to theater hop to, texas chainsaw and gothika.

Your Valks
in Toys
that first picture of a valkyrie in mid-transformation is awesome.
can the person who came up with it give a shout here?
i dont think i've ever seen a valkyrie posed like that
-
very cool!!
i agree with those against the crap subtitlers who do it for profit. they make crappy translations just so they can say there are english subtitles and sell more bootlegs =(
-
damn hasbro kows how to milk their molds.
i dont like the scuplt....i would rather buy a 1/48 first then this.
-
on my car forum i wanted to imitate the logo of an infamous and huge japanese club.
the japanese car used is dfferent then the US one so i had to make some changes for my banner. thread here:
http://www.protege5.com/vbb230/showthread....&threadid=31950
so i was sitting here bored and dug up an old picture to mess with =D
-
so its just average huh?
dammit....
well, at least i wont be going in with high hopes like once upon a time in mexico, lol.
-
i vouch for arafat.
i know he shares his apartment with two people. he must have sold the valkyries to his roomate who he didn't know was a macross fan until he got the address to ship the valkyries to.
then he walked over and put it on his desk and asked to be added to the straight shooters list. Hence the same IP and quick posting.
LOL. longshot
nice work max. c'mon back arafat. don't leave without saying anything =D
-
wow, those look really good.
just apply em onto a test alpha with before and after pics and watch those sales come rolling in
-
1/55 is King!
great work mike, keep the 1/55s flying offa the assembly line.
you can always attach pictures here and just post them directly. they will be bigger than the ones in your album
i like your front gear as it resembles the lineart more. what did you do to the back landing gears? are they swapped in from another model or is the metal door on the front of them chopped off? cant see it in the pics.
-
you can try slimming it down to be more accurate to lineart.
than its kinda your own creation.
that 1D head is like the stock 1A head. both of em are big and clunky.
it needs to be sleeker like what rob did to his 1A head
g/luck =D
-
looks like the green was added, panels, and then a matte coat.
looks much better than the stock toy. somone should try it out on an extra 1/48 =D
-
damn all...
you can try looking online and researching and then if nothing turns up you can ask here. Don't get somone else's advice especially when you have your own specific requirements for modchips.
on my car forums they are much meaner than over here and they would go nuts, lol.
g/luck in the mod-chip hunt!
-
muahaha, you want a chip but dont want to solder?
guess youre buying a nihongo ps2 like the j-man said.
bit that would open up a whole new realm of problems, so if you want to mod your ps2, the DMS3 or messiah are the two ways to go
go to www.ps2newz.net, and get info before you buy
better yet, get a pre-mod, and get rid of your old ps2
and by the by, ANY chip will eventually screw your laser up, its just a matter of when, not IF
listen to esta, he's the man in htis kinda stuff.
i remember he was all into this, what was it?, a year ago?
he linked me to all the things he is linking t you here. he's done the research!
-
m66-hey theres somone else who owns one! those are hard to come by.
pfunk-where did you get that avator? are you a member of the protege5.com forum? reason is moos moos took a still picture of that and then linuxracer modified it into a moving gif. just wondering where you found that. =D
-
