  1. Blitzway Press Release:

This is Blitzway. Regarding the recent controversy regarding CARBOTIX VOLTRON products, we would like to announce our position as follows. First of all, we would like to apologize to the consumers who have purchased our CARBOTIX VOLTRON products for the problem of supply in quantity and defective issues that occurred in the initial quantity. All of Blitzway's executives and employees feel a heavy responsibility for letting consumers who have purchased our products and waited for a long time with this kind of problem. We have formed a special after-sales team at the head office in Korea to deal with defects found and received so far with sincerity and sincerity. We will do our best to provide after-sales service for customers who have received defective products, and we will do our best to prevent the same problem from occurring through more strengthened inspections for future shipments.

Unfortunately, while monitoring the current situation, it was discovered that another company in the same industry systematically slandered Blitzway through acquaintances and some ghost IDs, and now formally commissioned the cyber investigation team belonging to the Seoul National Police Agency. It is under investigation by the police authorities. We requested an investigation by collecting suspicious circumstances such as testimonies, chat rooms, recordings, ID histories, and purchase histories of the contents. There was a part where many buyers already reported directly to whether or not they agreed with this part. Ghost IDs created for slander that you can see in community posts, slander in a non-purchasing state, dissemination and incitement to the fact that you received a refund after cancellation even without a purchase history, aggressive comments on articles supporting or supporting Blitzway, etc. , allegations of directing or encouraging this are currently being investigated. We have thought a lot before requesting such an investigation, and we would like to inform you that we do not intend to block the opinions of customers who have left comments with regret and upset after receiving a defective product. This case investigation request is intended to punish those who promoted systematic exaggeration and false agitation and public opinion, and to prevent the recurrence of that part. We reiterate that the investigation will not be conducted on the voluntary opinions of actual buyers. We promise to always listen to sound criticism and customer opinions and make improvements. CARBOTIX VOLTRON currently receives about 60 defective cases compared to domestic shipments. However, this VOLTRON has a large quantity reserved for shipment, which is rare in Korea, and the actual defect rate through systematic dissemination and slander This leads to more exaggerated issues. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Cyber Investigation Team will have no leniency for the dissemination of false facts and manipulation of public opinion turned out to be true. . We once again apologize and apologize for the occurrence of this issue. (Employers of Blitzway Inc.)

So apparently the Blitzway Voltron really isn't doing so well in a few circles. I'm actually thinking of cancelling my order with BBTS and just eating the deposit.

BIG thanks to a really good friend who pointed this out as a warning for me.

    -b.

That's the thing that BBTS is great for (and why I got this from BBTS). They have a great warranty return/replacement policy. If you get a bad copy they will replace it. If they don't have a unit to replace it with they will refund your money. I've even had them give me a deeeeeep discount to keep a unit that had a defect that they were unable to replace.

I have mine PO'd through BBTS for this reason. I'm not worried about getting stuck with a junk unit.

I saw that.  Again, disregarding all of this drama, the end product that I currently have I love quite a bit and am glad to have gotten it.  For what it's worth.

    You have yours alreday?

  3. Finished up the latest season of Billions. This one was a HUGE departure from previous seasons. I won't explain why because of spoilers. Unfortunately it lost some of it's core feel. I'm not going to say it was bad. But it's not the old Billions.

I'll watch the next season because the show is still ok (it's been greenlit already).

And at this point, I still hope for the HMR (not due to price so much as for the fact that a 1/60 Monster is hard to find space for lol).

And most of us alreday have most of the Destroids in HMR.

    JUST FINISH THE LINE BANDAI!!!:fool:

Agree. For ME the characters on Russian Doll I just found to be the kinds of people I could not identify with at all. I don’t need perfect people by any standard just people I could some what relate to or want to know more about. These I would want nothing to do with. At least after the first episode or 2 when I walked away.

    Chris

    Exactly.

'Could've sworn I read McElhone was playing Cortana and Jen Taylor was voicing...Guess I read that wrong. Regardless...awful styling on the wig.

Natascha McElhone is playing Dr. Catherine Halsey (and her clone).

Cortana is voiced by Jen Taylor. From what I can gather she did the motion capture work too which may explain why Cortana looks more like Taylor than McElhone.

I kinda like McElhone’s wig. But I have a huge weakness for cosplay girls, mid 20th century hair styles and visual items that most think are weird, fake looking or stand out. Also, not germane to this particular look, I’m a sucker for tattoo’s on women too.

I can deal with an unlikakle character as long as they’re interesting, easier than a boring character that’s just boring like the majority of the rogue one cast.

I don't have an issue with an unlikable character. I think it would be lacking if there were not a whole range of character traits. It's when every character is unlikable where I have a problem. There needs to be a balance.

And I'm not conflating "likeable" with good guy or unlikable as "bad guy". I think it's possible to dislike the good guy and like the bad guy for example. A perfect example of this would be The Expense. Holden is a good person who is always trying (and usually succeeding) in doing the right thing. Amos on paper is a "bad person". He's 100% psychopath. But, I find Holden annoying and Amos fascinating. The key here is that the writers gave you both to play off each other.

i hope the prices of Arcadia valks don't sky rocket too much due to the circumstances:unsure:

Just raw materials have gone up on price 15-30% in the last 3mo. Shipping (don't forget, they need things shipped to them, things shipped back and forth between subcontractors, etc. It's not just the shipping to us) has gone up 25-35%. Just the price of boxes has gone up 20-25%. Everything that has to do with producing a product is skyrocketing in price. I live it every day. I'm having a hard time keeping up with raising retail prices on my website to cover my new costs they're coming so fast and hard.

On shipping cost it's not just the cost of let's say shipping a container from the CCP to the US. That has gone up tenfold. It's that a lot of companies can't wait for how long shipping takes now so they have had to ship to air freight. Which increases costs a LOT MORE. To meet deadlines I've had to have my last two freight shipments out of China sent air freight. The per unit shipping cost is now more than the cost of the units themselves.

On top of that inflation is making your money less valuable It's buying power) at rapid rate.

On top of that you have the raw material shortages that not only delay things. But because they screw up schedules and tie up more working capital this also causes cost increases.

People can hope and wish that what is happening is not happening. But it is. And it's going to get worse. And it's in all probability going to lead to an unprecedented crash. A lot of people in the know think we will see a historical change in the world economy and quality of life impact that will take 20-30yrs to recover from. Buckle up kids. Even if it's 25% as bad as it probably will be. It's going to be bad. You can't run a debt based economy/ Ponzi scheme for 90yrs and then shut the world economy down for 18-24mo without their being a major problem. Like a heavy duty drug addiction, eventually everything catches up with you.

Basically, what I'm wondering about is why announce another re-release if you can't finish making the previous re-release?

1.) Because they need to sell product to stay in business. Despite the worldwide production problems they still need keep producing things. The other option is to close up shop.

2.) They could select a different subcontractor to assemble the Tomahawk so they don't have to wait for the YF-19 assembler to finish.

I was wondering how you were going to display your Nu Gundam. Thanks for sharing.

The Unicorn isn't transformed quite right. I'm sure he's super fiddly though so your call if you want to fix. Amazon seems to have decent enough reference pics for you to look at and compare.

    Thanks:hi:

Looks like I missed the penis cover. Do you see anything else?

I did do a couple of the unleashed things. They get pretty out of hand pretty fast though so I chose to keep it subtle.

The NU looks pretty good in there I think. I'd like to do a dynamic pose with it and the Unicorn. But boy oh boy they start taking up some ROOM! I'll play around with it in the next few weeks. I was waiting on the Unicorn to see what I had to work with on that shelf before I went further.

Man, I ordered a refrigerator on Black Friday. They told me it would be available in March. I just called... now it's "possibly the end of September but that's still a preliminary number." There's a very good chance I will get my fridge more than a year after I bought it.

Welcome to the new normal. And it's going to get worse. Not only are the supply chains shattered. Raw materials are becoming a problem.

Next will be food shortages. Probably not the inability to get food. But the food choices will be dropping (they alreday are).

And of course everything is getting a lot more expensive. As a retailer I can't even keep up with having to update my site with the new/higher prices they're shooting up so fast. My raw materials, component and shipping costs have been going through the roof. Assuming that they are available to buy at all.

The two years of COVID are going to be considered "the good ol days" here pretty soon.:(

I just couldn’t get into Russian Dolls myself. I didn’t like the characters. Same problem I had with Breaking Bad. Happy for you guys that liked it though.

    Chris

I get where you're coming from. There are a LOT of TV/movies where everyone on/in them is unlikable. I think the anti hero thing has gone too far in a way. And that is coming from someone who really likes the anti hero. The anti hero needs a foil though.

It also doesn't help that so many actors are absolutely rotten people in real life and all over the news, social media, etc. reminding you and it. How am I suppose to watch something with them in it when I can't stop thinking about what a rotten person they are? If people can do it, all power to them. I'm not one of those people though.

Not sure how the Tomahawk announcement is going to help Arcadia's delayed production of the YF-19's. I was rooting for the VF-5000G, but not sure what the future holds now.

They're probably mostly unrelated. The YF-19 is most likely being assembled/boxed by a subcontractor. It's not like the Arcadia designers are tied up "in back" putting YF-19's together.

Adding the Yamato Ghost to an Arcadia 0A feels wrong. You can make the ghost work but it feels like it would break over time. The add-on weaponry basically doesn't work without thickening up some pegs.

I don't know if you think this applies to the Arcadia 0S. But I have three with Yamato Ghost's on them (one in each mode) and they have been 100% issue free. Granted, they have only been that way for 3ish yrs???

I did use a teeny tiny bit of Blue Tack in some key spots to keep everything shored up though.

I missed out on the old Yamato Destroids when they first released... short on funds $$$ back then, I'm in for a Tomahawk pending they're not like $300.00 or some insane price tag.

Oh, they'll be $300+. Between Arcadia pricing and inflation SKYROCKETING all of this stuff is going to go up in price for a while. It has only just begun. Get ready for a bumpy ride.:(
