It's adorable that you think NY ever had SSP's for you.NY over sells their orders by a large margin and then crosses their fingers they can get them from other sources. Worse case for them is they still sell you something because they won't refund your money. If you paid with PP and your 6mo are up still try and reverse your charges. If you can get a live person they will usually do it for you. I steadfastly refuse to deal with NY. When my first PO's were coming up on 6m and I had paid through PP I asked them to refund my orders so I could send them money again thus re-setting the 6mo PP clock. They refused. So I canceled my orders, got my PP money, NY banned me (oh no, not that, I wanted to continue shopping with you!!!) and I never looked back. I am a borderline anti NY zealot who preaches to anyone who will listen to not shop there. Their business practices are horrendous. When taking the 30,000ft view I don't know how anyone can give them their money.

So I just watched the episode. With the benefit of streaming, high def/remastered, a 75" TV and the ability to pause it anywhere at any moment with no distortion. Here's the thing. It's all wrong. There isn't anything to tether to as a "zero". -The vast majority of the time the goggles are the exact same color as the armor. So, either the armor is supposed to be grey, or the goggles are supposed to be blue. IMO if one wanted to go "Full Cannon" the goggles need to be the same color as the armor. Pick your poison. Blue or grey. Or, blue/grey. To me the armor looks more blue/grey than blue for what that's worth. -In a few instances the goggles did appear to be darker than the armor. But they were very brief, and my brain could be playing tricks on me half of those times. Some of them were after Hikaru ejected the armor so the contrast with the white Valk would make the blue/grey look darker. -There were absolutely moments where the goggles were white. No mistaking them. They weren't short. -In one instance the goggles were RED! And most of the armor was white (it looked pretty cool). In conclusion, go with whatever makes you happy. I don't think this could be any more wide open. Also, IMO if Arcadia were real hard core fans they would come with three heads. One with grey, one with blue, one with white. Or just do the armor and the goggles in blue/grey and provide a head with white goggles. I'd like to see someone do a white and red GBP custom. The brief moment when the cartoonist was on acid it looked pretty cool!

It isn't 4.5K from Mandy. I just looked up an order for a YF-19 Full Set (could be slightly more than a VF-1) that just arrived to come up with that Manda shipping amount. It was 7,810 to ship. Manda is not consistent across the branches either. They banged me hard on a shipment out of Sahra. I didn't want to miss out on something so I checked out. I contacted them with order numbers from other branches for shipments of a similar size and they refunded me 10K from the 20K they banged me for. I had to wait for it to arrive then emailed them again so they could check what the actual DHL shipping charge was. Apparently they don't get invoiced until it's delivered. They were actually quite helpful, prompt, etc. Basically a photo negative of NY.

The problem with Mandy for single items is that DHL is the only shipping option now. That 22K turns into 29K real fast. Amazon has that beat by 3K.

To be fair they did click on a buy button next to a picture of one with white goggles. Would I be pissed/bummed out if I had bought one and wanted grey goggles? Yep, I sure would. After about 30sec I would be PO'd with myself the most though. A lifetime of constantly shooting yourself in the foot will do that to ya.
