the 1/60 vf-1's look so smallish compared to the other 1/60s in the macross world- the sv-51, vf-0, yf-21 & yf-19, does the scale matter if you are going to display your valks together?
-
great shot of the 19.

there has never been a time like this for macross with the different shows and toys.

that sucks about the pilot.
Does the gummy pilot keep its paint after time- this question is more for the guys with the older 1/48s ?
-
can anyone put up a pic?

I just bought a yf-19 & had the hardest time getting the pilot into the cockpit. my 2 others yammies are 1/48 vf-1 with the hard pilot.
Are all the others like this- the sv-51, the vf-0 and the yf-21- difficult to put the pilot in without scuffing the paint?

I like the fighter looks of the 21 better and after seeing the 19 in the box in the fighter mode, I didn't find it so great.
Anyway, to make a long story short- I bought the 19 after seeing it in battroid mode on display in another shop.

I would have to go with 1/48 vf1-D as well.
-
I wonder whats taking them so long to re-issue the regular vf-0 line with fixes. Since they did invest in the molds anyway.
-
they really should add a different accessory.
after having the 1/60 v1 and the 1/48 with the same vf in the fighter and missile arnaments(in the box). It will be tiring to see it again in the 1/60 v2.

How is the popularity of Macross toys in Japan?
-
Since they are both unlike modern jets at all. I would go with the 21 since it looks more aerodynamic, not that they both are.
-
i'm holding out on these until they definitely have a v2 2 seater anything in that 1/60 vf line.

Is there an official Yamato release schedule for new items and re-releases?
-
-
It's been awhile since its release and the arm problems. is it safe to get it now?
-
the max 1a i bought new is ok. but the fokker 1s has yellowing(I bought it on sale because it was yellowing) It doesn't bother me.
-
they can't just leave the 1/48 hanging without releasing 2 seaters. Besides, wouldn't 2 seaters be easier to create than 2 seaters in 1/60 with perfect transformation.
-
The only way to spice the vf-1 line is to add the perfect transformation 2 seaters.
-
finally got a 1/48 super/strike parts (it also came with a vf-1s for the price of the super/strike although the vf-1s yellowed a little) on my 1st trip to Japan. I'll consider this my coolest gift.

who know how much yamato is making. but, they better fix their qc problems and risk producing larger batches.

I agree with the price being high and a pat in the back to yamato for doing it. I hope that they make more toys from the macross line to make it interesting, instead of repaints of what they have.
