About japanese honour, I bidded on a buy it now VF-31A at 35k and the auction closed after I bidded for it, turns out now it says I lost the bid, which is absurd as I saw the auction close the moment I bidded. Looks like I won’t be getting my VF-31A afterall. This guy probably decided to take it off and sell it at a higher price, damn disgusting scalpers!!!

After reading the store credit fiasco, i guess the myth of the great japanese honour system is long dead now, seeing that how NY treats its customers. Maybe we are foreigners to them and thus they do not need to extend that courtesy to us?

I caved and bought a scalper one for 35k, now i hope it does come and not get jibbed by yet another seller. If NY comes thru with my order I might sell that one, but if they come through with my order that means it came through for everyone’s order, so the value of the valk would have dropped and I will never recoup the loss. Maybe I will keep both if thats the case.

Did they refund your money or give you store credit?

Oh well another day and I don’t think there was any update (at least from here ) that anyone got their order shipped. At least yesterday there was some movement and tomorrow is friday already. If they go store credit route, I will get my money back thru cc company, they can close my account for all I care but will never give them my business again.

In the past I do not remember NY having any issues with TWE, thus I guess why so many members here have raised concerns and thrown flak at NY, I have never seen them not being able to ship out within a week of the date they stated on their website of their expected release date, thus you really can't blame a lot of us whom are concerned that they will never get their copy and thus are investigating why this is happening. Anyway this is my info to add to the data

But from what I see, it does not matter when you order or where you are from, they randomly ship some ordered on the 7th and some on the 6th, too various countries, if someone had an order shipped from NY later than those dates ordered do chime in so to give some hope to those ordered later than those 2 dates.

Same here, I always choose EMS, and it was the only item i ordered in that PO, no word on mine yet, looks like there is no logic on whose get shipped and when it gets shipped.

If they ship based on rank then I think I am frakked as I am rank 1

Yup been there before but i only know of richmond centre as the rest of the shops in causeway bay seemed to have folded

Hmmm I saw NY listing it at 42000, Too bad I dun have friends in HK, else I would ask them to help me get that one, I don't have that paint scheme yet and had given up on getting it due to the whole lottery system. Is this shop in richmond centre?

Is that a VF-31J kai I see? If so that price is not too bad

Wife to be called up ny thru their english contact number and the guy assured her that they are still waiting on stock from bandai and will fulfilled the current orders, I really hope that is true and not just more delay tactics. 

Sadly mine was ordered on 7th oct at 10am japan time, And i heard there are people whom ordered multiples on th 6th not getting theirs yet, things look grim, but there is always hope for the best, fiancee has offered to get one thru yahoo auctions, am still not sure if I want to pay scalper prices again.

NY offices are closed now, and no news about anyone getting any orders shipped today, looks like we are all fraked big time by ny, i guess somehow they messed up big and are waiting for everyone’s paypal dispute window to close and then annouce that they are giving store credit to everyone whom they could not fulfill the orders to, that said if this was the case, i will use up the store credit but this is the last time they ever see my money.

Of course if somehow they miraculously got my order fulfilled I might still use them in future, though this makes me feel kinda scared to use them anymore.

If that is really the case, then maybe ny’s shipment really got lost or something, i have ordered many twe’s from ny before but never had anything like this happen to my previous orders. Oh well, lets hope they pull thru, will go look at the valk in the store and see if my heart thinks that its worth $400usd

The thing I don’t get is why is bandai not allowing webshops to sell these valks? Its not like anyone outside of Japan can order direct from their tamashi webshop correct? If so I would have done that instead. Just don’t understand the economics of bandai when there is money to be made.

Btw is the local shop in suntec? If so i might go down and see if I am willing to fork out that insane price for it. Thanks

Nope, from singapore here and i my irder was completed on 7th oct and have not gotten a shipping notice from ny yet

NY gave me a respond when i queried them, they state that they have not yet recieve their stock and thus could not ship out yet.

I accidentally ordered 2 on hlj, and both had confirmation email, I have already cancelled one, will they still cancel my 1st one?

If thats the case, shouldn’t it say exclusives (not tamashi webshop) like the one below it, the way it looks its like the same deal like the super parts for mirage custom vf-31
