If your into the Frontier valks I would suggest keeping it and displaying it in fighter mode along side a renewal VF-25f valk. No noticable difference in V1 and renewal in valk mode that I know of. I have two of the VF-25s V1 and may try to off load one and keep the other for valk mode. I wll be picking up a renewal VF-25s for battroid mode displaying.

I had hoped that maybe the gerwalk mode looked ok with the V1 but from posts here that may not be the case.

Might I suggest you note a few particulars. What VF-25 is it? S/F/G, RVF-25? Add info about condition, was it displayed. What is included, such as the box, anything missing, and or broken.

I don't know exactly what it is about it but out of all of my valks thats the one I would not be willing to part with. In battroid it is just super sexy and hits all the right notes for me.

Second right now would be a tie between the VF-25 Prophecy and the YF-30.

I am disappointed about the color, definitely darker than I wanted. I am not going to cancel though because like others I am just happy to have one.

And you know what's funny, this is not an old theme here on MW. I bet you could go through a lot of old posts where people say they wont get X because of color shape what ever. Then look through the collection thread and see X in their collection pictures.

Is it just me or are the prices of Yamato valks rocketing up on eBay? Bandai frontier valks prices are staying steady, but the Yamato's are climbing up. I wonder if the market is sensing scarcity?

Version one Yamatos. Well what can you say about them. How about.

They were ground breaking for their time. They were the newest "perfect transformation" valks in decades. The best thing before them were the Bandai chunky monkeys, BLEH. They ushered in a new era of valk pricing, collecting and new interest in the franchise.

Were they perfect no, Yamato did open up a whole new world for us and I am grateful. If I had to give up all but one of my valks, I would keep my V1 VF-1J supa. Love that toy in battroid more than any of the others.

Not sure I like it, probably because it reminds me of this Turkey!
