  1. I couldn't agree with you more, and I hope you don't think I was attacking you or anyone for that matter.

Nah! Wasn't directed at you. But it seems like somehow my post had been mis-interpreted by a prior poster as an attack on Robotech fans. I didn't call them ignorant. Nor did I really say much of anything else except that some of them would be welcome. . . but a large number of RT.com people would dilute the MW atmosphere and (for me) spoil the event.

    DITTO!

  2. A DYRL version would look cool!

It would go great next to my M-0 valk, 1/60 Monster and YF-19 FP valk. What I mean is I would rank it as possible to be made as the three I just mentioned. Mind you I would be pleasantly surprised.

  3. Well, I think we can look at the 1/60's - Yamato flooded the market with them, and their value dropped like a rock (not to mention alot of the 1/60's went back on the market once the 1/48's came out). They probably learned from that experience, that it's better to undersaturate the market, then oversaturate it - it's always better to have a demand, then there be little to no demand. Then, if they decide to say, rerelease the 1/48 VF-1J Hikaru for the GBP armor release, they can justify it, because not only the people who want the valk for the GBP will be happy, but others who want to buy more valks (kensei, spiff) can purchase some more, and justify to Yamato the cost of either fixing the molds, or making new ones (really depends on how many parts they've made from each mold)...

I sure hope that is true!

I usually only buy one of each and if I really like the variant I try to get two. When I see people with 10+ of a variant or say Fast packs and I have none, it gets to me but I cant complain about their good fortune to be able to purchase so many.

    I just hate/envy them for it. :D

  4. I have had my head shoved up my new business the last year and I have fallen behind on my Macross purchases. Now that I have cash to spend again I am looking around for the valk's and accessories I want and missed out on. I am not finding them ANYWHERE! Ebay, online stores, and so on are all out of stock. And what is left is going up in price because there are few left.

So I figure that the supply is drying up and then I think well Yamato how about some re-releases!?! I know Yamato has been tight lipped lately but what do you think the chance of re-releases are. Are the warehouses empty and the shelves becoming bare? Will Yamato notice, will Yamato care? I am noticing the lack of supply on quite a few variants and the fast packs. Or~

    Am I just panicing?

  5. Wow, that's really nice. I know it must be really hard to do this sculpting, but the shoulders would look great if they would be positioned lower in reference to the VF-11.

    Nice job!,

    Vic!

I have worked on lowering the shoulder height, I have brought it down as far as possible and still clear the shoulder sliders.

No new images to add right now. I am planing to go to MWcon5 and I will bring it along with me.

  6. Wow looks awsome I actually can't wait for a member here to finish his custom armor for the yamato vf-11b if anyone can still remember a year ago I wonder if he finished?

    great job

    From Rich :)

Not finished yet, been too busy starting my new business. But I would say it is 95% done, just need to find some time to finish it.

  7. I am sorry for yours, your daughters and all your families loss.

Life throws us these curve balls but there is always some good to be had in the end, so dont give up. While the immediate seems impossible, I am sure your wife would not want you to give up. Stay strong for your daughter, the others around you and just as importantly for yourself.

  8. I was thinking it might be cool to have a catagory devoted to what we all do for a living! Kinda like a business directory.

It might lead to some new business, partnership, aliances, mergers, hostile take overs or what ever.

    Just a thought.

  9. Holy cow!!

I run two monitors with a resolution of 2048x768 and that first pic still didnt fit on my screens!! The pics look great, but you should try to keep your images 800x600 or under. If you edit your post you can swap out the images with smaller ones. My self or another kindly soul here can do it for you if you dont have a photo editing software.

  10. I have the pics

That server is gone now so I will have to upload the pics to the new server or my website. Not much progress to report right now I have been here and there working on the details of the boosters. Really all I have to do now is finish all the detail work then I can start making molds. I would imagine by the end of the year I will have it to the production stage.

Thanks for all the support and praise, I didnt think everyone cared about it so much.
