bottom line is unless there is a biblical upsurge in demand for macross bandai is'nt going to do a thing.

the financial pressure is immense in the toy market, take takara- they are surperb in regards to toy design and execution but they are losing money hand over fist

it does'nt matter who does what with the license, there is simply not enough appreciation of the series to justify the spending of the resources needed for brand new product for bandai to launch the blitzkreig of their marketing and merchandise dept

it hurts to hear but that is the case

now due to what is becomming an ever present threat to gundam is cartoon network, which has pulled gundam from a once daily 5 pm slot to a once weekly slot at 1:30 in the morning on friday night, with no advertising to it's timeslot or specific series is playing, that and moving toonami to saurday nights and replacing it with all a mixed bag of saturday mornig cartoons from fox and the wb...
