41 with the cover image....probably the same images as the one Mokman is describing. One recently sold on Mandarake for 5,000 via auction....
http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/auction/item/itemInfoEn.html?index=384744
There are some that sell on YJA that have different images....but are not a licensed version like the Movic release, which only matters to me due to my obsession for collecting all licensed publications for SDFM/DYRL...
Here is a current listing...
http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r66111082
And not to deviate from the cel topic...but Movic also released similar character and mecha sheet collections for Macross 7, Macross Dynamite 7, and Macross Frontier
All the art on this booklet are also seen in the Macross Gold Book and Perfect Memory Book, right?

Yes, I keep on forgetting to post plenty of things. Among them is this:
On this uncensored BD release, check out Minmay's hair (looks greenish) during the time she and Hikaru were trapped, when Minmay was telling about how she left her parents to pursue her singing career.
Can anyone please compare with other versions especially with the PS3 game/BD if her hair really looks greenish instead of dark blue?
Thank you.

Comparing Hi Metal Regult with 1/60 Yamato HDP Regult:
Hi Ignacio. Do you have any picture of the Yamato Regult with VF-1 in Battroid mode for size comparison? Thanks!

There's one or two episodes where the glaug used the claws for equipment pick up.
Which episodes? I must've missed that.

Nice! Thanks for the updates, Bub.
Still looking like Anubis. The knee joint still looks awkward. It looks like the YF-21 joint only in reverse.
Glad to contribute to the community. I hope the pix help in the "reverse engineering" of the SV-262's transformation. Enjoy!

Thanks for the pics!
You're welcome.

Pretty cool Bub, thanks! I'll be sure to check that out when i'm in Akiba next week.
OT, but did you spot any Cosmo Fleet SDFs? Still thinking on whether I should try my luck in Akiba, or just get it from HLJ..
Saw a few Cosmo Fleet SDF going for around 6,000 yen at a store below the train tracks nearest Book Off. But that was last month. Didn't pick one up as I got turned off by "parts forming". Wasted opportunity.
Love the opening cockpit. Bandai had better give us a Kamujin figure to put in it!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention earlier: I also told the person at the Tamashii showroom that Bandai should make Zentraedi pilot for the HM-R under the Figuarts line . He told me that it would not fit so I mentioned the Yamato CMs Miriya figure with interchangeable head from way back. He probably wasn't familiar with it.

Frak just to show how serious Var is it wiped out an entire colony on Alfheim. This was two years ago and Messer was there.
As stated in the 2nd Forbes interview of Shoji Kawamori Fold Bacteria has spread after the Vajra left. How this happened isn't explained in the anime but the prequel manga may have answers. At least it isn't killing its hosts like Ranshe and Sheryl was. The Vajra may have done something so won't kill humans and related races. Perhaps it is meant to facilitate communication once the Sub-Protoculture races leave the Milky Way and meet the Vajra again. Unfortunately it has been taken advantaged of by Windermere to facilitate terrorist acts.
We probably have to take account Galactic Whales a fold capable species have bacteria on them. A vaccine was developed to allow off worlders to live on Zola. Otherwise it is pretty deadly unless treated early with disinfectant or you take a bath at the Whale graveyard hotspring at Catsnake forest.
Protoculture ruins typically has energy shafts reaching to the planet's core. This in line with Macross 7 where in Rax the Protoculture ruins raised itself from deep underground from a volcanic island.
For Walkure it is a hit and miss activating them. Depending on circumstances. If Basara was there he can probably activate them himself with his status as Anima Spiritia.
Mirage is concerned being Var'ed as she doesn't have Fold Receptors. Uh Mirage you have family that have Fold Receptors. Your grandparents , Max and Milia, and aunt Mylene didn't manifest them at first but after continuous exposure to Basara singing they eventually had it as well. Your aunt Emilia? Also a powerful Fold Receptor that don't need tech and is more in line with a the legend of a Wind Singer.
The common denominator is that they learn to sing themselves instead of just listening to Basara.
And this is where Roid is mistaken in saying the ruins being just rocks without Wind Singers? Humans has Wind Singers it is just they don't call them that. Among the Mayans they are known as Shrine Maidens. Among modern Humans they are legendary Songstresses mostly, Basara a legendary Rock Star called by the Protodevlin and Protoculture as Anima Spiritia. Though I suppose Roid already knows that and lied to Keith so that he wont do anything rash. Rocks floating responding to Sara's song in Macross Zero.
On the triangle front Freyja became jealous due to a rumor by bridge bunnies and when it was cleared up was relieved. This lead her to meeting Messer at the beach. This'll be an odd friendship I think.
Check out her rune during these sequences. Heheh.

... But then again, the Max and Miriya were not displayed at the Akiba showroom anymore. They probably pulled them out when they realized they put wrong arm armors on them?
Anyway, more pictures from the same batch. This time, VF-1A's sporting the chest/shoulder covers:

I hope I also find deals like that on HMR toys when I get to Tokyo next year. What shop had the best prices by the way?
I'd always recommend Jungle and Akibano-X. But look at other stores too to compare prices.

Yeah I saw the lines when I was there in March. Crazy! Of all the things to bring over from the States. That stuff will clog your arteries!
Awesome find on that 8k Glaug. I'd go look for some in Akihabara myself, but the cost of a plane ticket would cancel out any savings.
It was actually priced 8,640 (tax incl.) then I told them that I brought my passport so they computed for the tax free price of 8,000! Can't beat that!

Here's my Bandai Story:
Last sunday, I went to Akihabara to hunt for some Macross Toys. I'm on the prowl for Vintage 1/55s, affordable Yamarcadias and the HM-R, specifically the Glaug.
During the hunt, I saw a YF-29 Durandal with the correct "SMS" shoulder print on display.
Went to different stores looking for the best priced Glaug. Here are the different prices in yen:
1) 13,300
2) 12,980
3) 11,700
4) 8,000
5) 11,000
6) 12,640
Yep, I found the best price.
While looking around I saw the Minmay Plamax on display. Then finally was able to taste the burger from Carl's Jr. (The line has always been long whenever I'm in the area, but not this time). Later that day, I saw an HM-R Roy with stage and a 1/55 GBP-1S Armor.
Got a chance to drop by the Tamashii showroom. I tried making the demo unit Glaug stand on one feet without using any stand. I got to talk to the person at the booth and he wrote down my feedback regarding the Macross HM-R line. I told him that there are plenty of overseas fans of the SDF Macross and that they should reissue them especially the VF-1 and hopefully Bandai does and you guys can thank me later. Unfortunately though, I failed to mention about the Max & Milia arm armors.
Then it was time to go home. Yes, to the area near Walkure's first mini concert was held.
Before departing for the airport, I went to a local second hand shop and a yellow submarine and found an HCM VF-1S Hikaru DYRL and a YF-29 that already comes with the replacement shoulder.
EDIT: Then it was time to watch Macross Delta Episode 9, Raw!!!

This time I'm in Tokyo. Unlike last week, I have TOKYO MX and am ready to watch Macross Delta the same time as Japan.
No waiting!!! No subs!!! Hahahahahah!!!

Sorry, not official. That brand of self culture aid has an extensive line of nearly every anime covered. But they have slight differences in character design and name to make them not quite copyright infringing.
Hahaha! Come on, you know I'm joking. BTW, replied PM.

I'd say definitely get this version. it's incredible.
And there is the option to get English subtitles from the internet, should you use a digital backup of your blu-ray disc.
How to get English subtitles. Please point me to the right direction. Thanks!!

Can't remember the last time Macross BGM's had sweet guitar licks.
When Hayate downed Bogue's engine...oh hells yeah.
Dogfighter from SDFM.
Notice that...
The Aerial Knights are in pain listening to Freyja? This is reminiscent of the Protodevlin's reaction to Basara's song.
Like Zentraedi's reaction to Minmay's song. Well not really in pain.
"Macross 7 did it. But SDF Macross did it first." Heheheh, I always wanted to say that.

They're supposed to be the "DYRL" versions of Max & Miria.
Like the first Hi Metal-R, DYRL version of Hikaru's Armored VF-1J. I don't see the point of Bandai releasing a "TV version" of Hikaru's Armored VF-1J if they're going this route.

At first, it started out slow...
I was beginning to get disappointed, and then... Some Valkyrie action and new songs!!! There's plenty for every one here!
Can't wait for the subs to learn more about what the characters were talking about.
-
That's, uh, one hell of a Macross Delta cross-promotion.....

Official merchandise?

I'm in Osaka right now and there's no TOKYO MX channel here in this hotel. I feel helpless... Guess I'll just have to wait.
Whether there's Valk action or not in this ep, I'm enjoying this series so far and will surely get the Blu-ray that will be released starting next month. Let's all support Macross!!!
