    Oh and the subs are closed caption. why I dunno unless its a screw up since the French sub track doesn't have them.

    Example:

    [helicopter approaching], [Japanese singing], [gunfire]

    or when someone is speaking [batou] then the dialog.

    Oh you have got to be kidding.....

    I was thinking about buying this one just for the animation (considering how much I hated the 'story") but if that's the kind of subs I can expect, I'll stick with my fansub copy. And here I was hoping that Dreamworks-imported anime would be a good thing. :angry:

    If "you were thinking about buying this one just for the animation", why would the subbing stop you? :blink:

    I played it and it was buggy. I fell through a couple of map holes and was "outside" of the game and had to reset. The AI is one of the worse; I felt the invid was just standing there and saying, "just shoot me, I won't dodge" .. I didn't have a good time with it. Talking cool in-game cutscenes...that is MGS3 and MGS:twin snake..those are the best ingame cutscenes I've ever seen, no pre-rendered. Even though there's alot of them in the game. it was a joy to watch them all :D

    I'm no sports gamer...actualy can't stand them...but I gots to ask, and maybe this is pointing out the obvious :rolleyes:

    Are sports gamers hooked on crack?

    I mean seriously, why do people even buy these games? go to any EB games and you will find dozens of used copies of last years uber football games, and the year before, and before then too.

    What, do the game CDs deteriorate that quickly that you need to update the game each and every year?

    Are haveing the latest player stats so important that you are willing to fork over your hard earned cash so easily...why not find some hacked updated stats table download for say Madden 03 instead?

    Or is it the graphics that drives people to by this years new game because player models now have three more polygons per butt cheek :lol:

    Now, by this point in the movie, I may have been distracted and shaking my head in disgust, but it seemed like said password finished entering itself when Deunan was unable to because the keyboard was broken, if this isn't the case there's still plenty wrong with the writing as-is. On top of that, I am certain I'm not covering all of the plot holes that made me cringe when watching the movie. Keep in mind, I wanted to love this movie, and was willing to forgive a lot.

    I'm not very sure on this myself, but at that point I assumed that Briareros somehow hacked into the computer and inputted the last letter. I got this from the way Deunan looked at Bria, smilingly after the letter was entered before punching the big red button. This is very obviously possible i GITS, but I'm not very sure about Appleseed. I assumed from Deunan's facial expression.

    Are the answers satisfactory?

    I thought it was Deunan's mom (well her ghost/spirit) enter the last keystroke....I mean right before last keystroke happen Deunan whispered "mom..."

    I gotta agree, Bri was pretty depressing in the movie. But he was holding some pretty heavy secrets. Hopefully, everyone will be a different mood in the next movie.

    It's seems like the movie got the mood backwards. The city was bright and very sunny while the characters were dark and depressed. In the manga it was almost the opposite.

    LOL! I thought it was just me that thought that :blink:

    you will but you'll probably have to put 'em on your harddrive since itunes (the software the ipod uses to transfer music) scans the folders you select and if there's a song out of place at any of the transfers, you won't be able to play that song...just the main reason why i hate itunes :rolleyes: what happend to the good ol' fashion drag n drop? <_<

    I agree with Dat Pinche Haro! With th ipod, you have to install software to transfer music files. Basically you can't just bring ipod over to a friend's house and drag and drop the mp3 you want to it. I want something as simple as drag and drop, not something that I need to transfer then encrpt to it's own format so you can't share it with other mp3 players. With the price of $400 (for a 40GB ipod), why not get a Gmini400, you can listen to mp3 and you can watch your macross DYRL on the go :D and it's drag and drop (no software needed). it even has a line out so you can output the video onto your TV

    On another note:

    "Please note that a limitation that suppliers have imposed on the launch of the PSP is that they will not accept any returns on PSPs that have dead pixel problems due to the supply shortages. We are not sure why they made a point to stipulate this particular issue but there may be rumors of excessive dead pixel problems on PSP machines amongst the distros. We just don't know at this time. We will clarify this policy to all of our customers in an email that we will send out on Monday once we have had time to digest and sift through the first reports from Japan that will be sent to us on Saturday." :blink:

    Nintendo will exchange a new one if you have a dead pixel within 5 days, they even pay for the shipping cost and this is when there's a DS shortage as well ;)

    Is battery life really a huge issue? When I think about when and where I'd be using mine I think:

    In the car. They make a car adapater and battery life is no problem.

    Somewhere besides my house (airports, someone else's house, etc.). Lots of places have power outlets.

    In the plane, now here's the only place I can come up with that I might have a problem.

    I'm looking at the PSP as the "desktop replacements" of gaming consoles.

    Do you think they should remove the word "portable" then? :p Sure there are many place that have power outlet, but carrying that thing and a power plug everywhere you go? :blink:

    I don't think they are talking about online distribution. I think it's about "big brother". How would you like it if you can't play a single player game if you're not connected to the net (just some worse case scenerio: your cable modem is busted, or there is service maintances, the server crashes, etc..). You bought a single player game and now you have to wait till you get connected to the net to play?

    How would you like it, if someone is monitor what you do/watch/listen on the net? Sure you have nothing to hide, but it if feels wierd that strangers are watching every movement you make <_< call me paranoid :p isn't that invading your privacy...you know..your personal space...then again I may be wrong about what Bloodcat and Southpaw Samurai is talking about :blink:
