Nintendo have always said that the DS is not the replacement of the GBA. They said if the PSP sales beats the DS, they will release the next gen Gameboy

You have beaten me to the Macross project I have been working on I have been working with Ali's script on the R2 DVD for a while now and only have gotten so far as getting the subtitles to finally appear on screen. I've only used IFO edit to add the script into the DVD structure. I have gotten some problems that I'm addressing (which is when the title screen apears, the sub doesn't work and vise versa). I am also doing the re-timing on the script for the R2 (it's off, the R2 version have a couple more seconds delay before the actually film start and you know a couple of millisecond will cause a chain reaction on the subtitles).

Anyway to the point of this post, I'm going to check out your steps to see if I can get my version to work. Thank you for posting your steps. Once I finish this project I'm going to start on either the R2 GunBuster OVA or the R2 SF2 movie (I hate the US version)

What's the quality of recasts? I really want this set of armour for the VF-1A I'm getting, so I'm open to suggestions.

Is the VF-1A a re-issue? If so, you might want to look for the reissue fastpacks (armor), because the reissue has a more curved wrist area then the original bandai VF--1A. Your forearm armor may not fit properly

If this game had anymore T&A in it, it'd be on the same level as Blood Rayne.

I'm alright, and even glad, for a little T&A. But lately I've been really turned off by the excessive T&A out there. It just seems to me that the programmers/writers/whomever is trying to cover up some gameplay/script deficencies by throwing some more tits and ass at the viewer.

"Game or movie not up to snuff? Give 'em a woodie and that'll fix everything!" is just really grating on my nerves. Everquest and Sudeki spring to mind as perfect examples.

I gotta agree with Cory here. I dont mind the T&A but if it is used to cover up the game deficiencies, no way no how will I get the game.

Mr. March, why not pick up a philip DVD 642 for all your R2 DVDs? it's the best region  free DVD player (with a code of course). The best part is it plays Divx AVI too! imagine just burning your Mac0 to a DVD or CD and just pop it into the player    This DVD has progressive scan, component/S-Video, optic out, and it has one of the best PAL conversion (better than any DVD players I have seen, and I went through alot    ) and the price is $69.99 USD  cheaper than a 1/60      Just do a google and you'll find it

Note: NEVER code your Phillips 642 for Region 0 or "Regionless" as it can permanently lock up the player and you can never use it again. EVER.

My buddy and I both bought a 642 and he tried Region 0 on his and, slam, locked up for good. The safest route is to constantly recode your player depending on which region the DVD your playing is for (it's terribly easy).

I'm just thankful beyond words that there is finally a Region 1 release of Nausicaa with the original japanese dialogue, good subtitles, and no editing.  Watching my Region 2 DVD of Nausicaa was a pain in the ass, since I have no player of my own for Region 2 DVDs.  Granted, it was a fantastic edition the japanese finally released, but I've only watched it once since I bought it last year

I won't be watching the dub for some time, but I'll watch the original japanese with subtitles and post my reactions.  So far, this new Region 1 Nausicaa DVD looks sweet!

Gunbuster, according to Gamespot, the square button problem only deals with PSPs manufactured in 2004 and shouldn't affect the US launch.  I'd say they rushed the Japanese units, and hopefully the first US batch will be of higher quality in general.

Awesome, thanks for the update mikeszekely I guess I'll wait for the second batch of of the US PSP release (I got my PSP fix with the japanese version, so I can wait). I was just really mad at Ken for saying that was as design. I'm glad its going to be fix.

Sony has confirmed that the controller buttons on some Playstation Portable (PSP) units may become stuck and not return to their default position. A free repair program has been announced.

Red Ninja main weapon is the "wire". You can grab your enemies and pull them up the roofs and decapitate them

Wish they'd bump up the graphics for the XBox version, but I guess thats the problem with releasing it on the PS2.  Looks like a fun game though, I'm not much of a stealth action guy but as long as there's some action I'll definately look into it.

I think you'll like it since its like between Shinobi/Kunochi and Tenchu, it has more action then Tenchu, less than Shinobi, but more Stealth than Shinobi, less than Tenchu

I know the new Tenchu is out, but this one has better eyecandy if you know what I mean
