They have a shipping table and they tell you the weight of the product so you can figure out the shipping on your own. I just made my first purchase with them and expected to have it by now... I was charged $100 for EMS on three Yamato Products (YF-19 + Fold, VF-0A + Ghost, and Urban GBP) and maybe I'm spoiled but to spend that much for an expedited service and not have it shipped until three weeks later seems kinda... mean

That said, they have a good rep around here for actually giving people what they ordered so I'm confident my package will arrive in good shape.

I don't think Yamato would really go with the gold look. Keep in mind this it is probably the combination of this being a prototype and bad camera flash. This is what I hope it ends up looking like. I think this is more anime acurate.

3 / 4 of my VF-1s's have floppy heads, and I bought none from Tisinc A little bit of epoxy and shortening of the screws seemed to magically fix that

It's more of a build issue at Yammies Factory Imho.

The head on the screw is shredded, I can't get any leverage to turn the screw out. none of my other 1/48s seem to have an issue. If your talking about the 1/60s though that's another story.

No it's skull 001. Unless the replaced the right wing. Somebody, was probably custum happy and wanted to see what it would look like on max. Either way it wasn't new

Tisinc99.com has them for $75. I`ve never had any problems with them but they have a rather hit and miss reputation.

Your really taking your chances with that company. The last thing I bought from them was a Hikaru VF-1S supposedly New in mint box. Well, after taken it out I noticed the head was floppy. No big deal, I can just tighten the screw on the bottom of the head. Well i could have if it wasn't stripped to hell and back. I've got a feeling they took a Hikaru vf-1a a placed a 1s head on it.

I'm not surprised they are junk. They would need to cost a fortune to be that big and very detailed and durable.

I'm still curious how much they are though. If they are expensive ($500+) the they are junk. If they were cheap ($200 or so) then they may be cool enough to buy because of their size. But if they ding easy or arms fall off they aren't worth anythig.

If I recall correctly they retailed for 3000-3500 dollars back in 20002-3 when they were released. There was a toywiz article that featured them that had MPCs on the cover. IMO they look like a giant non-posable super posable. Me thinks, definetly not worth the money.

You can still find them occasionally on evil bay. They typically go for around 80 bucks. You can also try Macrossworlds Wanted section. Maybe a member would like to part with their's!

If your into modeling you can pick up the Hasegawa kit. It's a nice kit I'm almost done with mine. The only problems is that it doesn't transform.

In my opinion Wave 1 should have only consisted of the earlier Joes. I guess those characters were not dynamic enough.
