Also just so you know. Tanmen will not reply to requests for his kits...especially Macross items he has done. Atcually the guy rarely even answers his phone...I know from experience.

As to the kit...Hobbyfan releases them from time to time.

I wasn't sure whether to put this in the Website Section or in the Dealer Section... so I basically chose the dealer section. MODS if this is in the wrong place please feel free to move it.

In any case I have started a new site to get items from Japan. Mainly I will be dealing with models and resin kits available only in Japan.

For Macross World I will be offering 10 - 15% off retail on certain items. The percentage off will be determined by how much I can get it for. I have a new wholeseller and their stock is simply amazing. When you make a request and state you are a Macross World Member in the email. (Please include username). I will try to keep prices as low as I can. Also in the past I did not offer SAL shipping, but it will be offered now.

There is not that much up on the site now, but I am adding stuff daily. If you have the time please check it out.

I will also continue to offer the Yahoo Japan Auction services on a case by case basis.

To date I am aware of only 2 people that have not received the Millia yet. In one case it was my fault and I have informed the member. At this point, besides the 2 members that have contacted me I have to assume that everyone else has recieved them. Once I have confirmation that they have safely gotten thier toys, I will consider this order closed.

I have not been able to get online as much as I would like due to a few personal and family problems. I also apologise for that. I don't have to say that this order did not at all go as I had planned or wanted. Just so many things went wrong. In the begining Hobby Japan charging me more than what I had anticipated, the dollar to yen rate crashing and more recently the Post Office messing things up.

I wanted this to be over. I was sent a few messages asking why I re-mailed a few to people who had not received them (That let me know). The answer is I ordered extra in the hope of selling them later. They were from my peronal inventory. The same way I did with the 1/48 Fast Pack covers. I used what stock I had left to replace them. And to be honest, the main reason is I trusted those members and believed what they said. If they had not gotten them, then it was my responsibility to make sure they did. I have gotten a total of 2 sets back. One set was damaged and unsalvagable. Which happened to be the order for sidearmsalpha. Luckily the post office gave me a partal refund for it. The other was due to my mistake. The only other thing I can say about that is if you get double your order, I hope you let me know.

On to another matter (And instead of starting a new thread). Samurai-Monkey Hobby is officially closing. I have served the hobby community for over 8 years. I had hoped that I would be able to pull through the current economic situations and rebuild again. But to be honest at this point I don't think anyone would place orders with me again, especially after this Hobby Japan mess. So to put it straight I will no longer be accepting requests for items here in Japan. I would like to thank all of the people who have been customers over the years. It was a blast while it lasted. But who knows in the future, if I happen to get back on my feet again, and there is a need I may be able to do favors from time to time.

I would also like to take the time to thank Shawn. When my personal site went down, he offered me web space on the MW servers to keep the site alive. That really meant alot to me. I would have done it but there was nothing of the site to save. Darn hackers destroyed everything.

Sorry for the late post. I have very limited access to the net. I wanted to give an update on how things are going. I am in a holding position again with mailing the remainder of these out. The exchange rate dropped again. And at this point I am hoping to have the remainder shipped out by the end of the month. I know that this has taken a long time and it is really not the way I like things to go. But it just seems that one thing happens right after another. For me as well as all of you involved, it has been a less than positive transaction (Through no fault of the buyers, you guys have all been very understanding). I understand that some of you may be angry. I would be angry myself if the situations were reversed.

I hope that everyone involved can understand.
