AFAIK, Rhys Millen isn't competing in D1GP right now. Probably because he was too busy filming the racing scenes in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Gittin's staying over here, he just won the all star event. Millen totaled his GTO in a practice crash at the same event. However he came back with another GTO and placed 2nd at the Long Beach Formula D event.

Slightly back on topic, I have noticed both a large influx of new members and increasingly bizarre off-topic threads and multiple useless posts to bolster post numbers fast. In my more cynical moments, I think that someone who's been here for 3 months and has a 4 figure post count is not an especially sanguine or opinionated fellow.

had a beat-up '89 that had a stuck thermostat. Major PITA to get to, considering the inlet pipe runs right past the exaust manifold....what fun that was to fix, and my big hands weren't really helping considering how tight the space was. The stupid thing still overheated when I took the thermostat out.

Hence why I like working on RWD cars instead.

I love watching F-16s trap with their tail hooks, it's always such a mess, heck we had an F-22 here last quarter that tried to tail hook trap, *snap*

but they were few and far between, I was meaning more mainstream ones.

heck, even the hated Civic weighs almost 2800lbs now with all the electronics they stuffed in it. Honda would be better off making a flying car if the Civic ever goes above 3000lbs....

EDIT: yes, I hate Civics, and yes, I have owned one, and yes, it was a MAJOR pain-in-the-ass to work on, hence, why I hate it even more.

Crap, I don't get it, I feel like I'm fairly in the loop on this production but some of you guys seem to know some stuff about the actual story that I haven't heard. How do you know this show sucks? If the character designs and CG are similar to shows that were eventually deemed Good, and that's all we have for RT so far, how can we deem it bad? I seriously don't get the jumps here unless someone can point me toward some background on the actual story of the show...

Granted, we don't really know the background of the story and all, but for as "big" of a company that HG thinks (yes THINKS) it is, couldn't they had given their "surpreme masterpiece", (the show that they bastardized by butchering three prefectly good shows while claiming they did ALL the work) quite a bit more funding? or is it that the MPC sales are the only source of funding for this......movie?

Come on, the character designs look like they were very partially ripped from 7 and both the character and mech designs look like something I could have drawn!!! at least, if it was me, the women would've ended up with even bigger.........(let's not forget, I SUCK AT DRAWING!)
