  1. I had them in my warehouse on pre order start date and there they stayed until release date then- thin air. HLJ support response was to the effect of we have no idea where the order went but to just reorder (an item that just sold out). At the end of the day, no biggy - just ordering for personal. Had these been for gifting? Waiting months for “we see your order , do not know why it was not fulfilled but just reorder and wait for restock”. No thanks HLJ
  2. I have had strange issues with HLJ of recent. I have heard of their shipping being exorbitant, however the past items I have pre-ordered (1st the milia639 resin and then Q-Rau tv) have inexplicably vanished from my cart upon expected availability date. Internal structure issues, the new warehouse thing? Don’t know but haven’t had a successful order from them since mid summer. I will be buying elsewhere until they do some ironing out.
  3. Gotta say @derex3592that SR-71 is lookin’ quite nice! Doin’ it some justice. I had one of those and a Hawker Harrier both of which got chucked out by the rents long ago. That build brings back lots of fun memories. I love this hobby and wish for more time to dedicate. Must add, thanks @tekeringfor reposting your recon regult, your builds are top tier and your photography is art. Thank you for sharing, it’s truly inspiring!
  4. …the new one is way way more articulated and with weaponry. The old one can only pull off ‘standing there’. Like it okay if a bit obscure, just thankful to know what it is
  5. @Gabe QThanks so much! That is it, I have seen very little anime and would never have stumbled across Escaflowne. I will check it out, cheers
  6. I recently found some old models in a box in my attic that survived a parent’s purge years ago. I don’t remember acquiring them, barely remember building them. I managed to find that one is the Water Baron from vs knight lamune and 40 (painted in the wrong colors). The red one is a mystery - can anyone in the community identify this fella, am stumped
  7. Currently finishing this guy up. A little more weathering and grime on the legs maybe. Building up a display base (a la olan mills) in order to loose the odd hasegawa stand.
  8. @nightmareB4macrossYour patience and attention to detail are just as amazing as that build. Hats off.
  9. Truly a thing of absolute beauty! Hat’s off @Return To Kit Form, just stunning display of talented workmanship and conceptualism. Gorgeous and fun even!
  10. Yes @tekeringmy Ger was roughly 30 clams and it shows. Very brittle PLA I think and odd to work with. That being said, I got it to cut apart and learn some articulation skills (and rid it of the gimme- a-hug pose it came with). The hasegawa one will likely arrive before I can button this guy up! Like the mospeada kitbashes, it will most likely be relegated to WIP skill builders of which are invaluable to me 🤗
  11. Thanks for the feedback, viewing y’alls work is a great motivator for me. There is virtually zero interest in model building locally:( Will keep ya posted on the Ger. It was pretty cheap as evidenced by the extremely shallow detail and it melts readily when worked to much. Slow and steady, tortoise wins the race on this one I’m hoping!
  12. Unfortunately, this is next in line… Just now realizing the differences in working pla models. Any suggestions on how to TLC this thing is greatly appreciated!
  13. A touch more detail work, battle damage and a few weapons to wield, ready for action!
  14. I’m new here, love the site and all the talent. It’s mind blowing the work posted here. I saw @Papa Rat acquired a 1/15 mospeada. I purchased two of the Houquet and after a test fit decided to alter them heavily. Here are a few pics, they are a bit hmarly and will forever be unfinished I suppose.
