  1. WOW! great collection! Very good custom jobs. I envy your skills. A couple of them are looking a bit dusty, give me your adress and I'll clean 'em for you.
  2. I bought my first 1/48 CF about a month ago. After a couple of transformations the rubber started seeping out of the hip joint. It's something thats quickly fixed though. Bleeding hip thread. I thought that I wouldn't buy any more but I just put in an order for a TV Hikaru VF-J and a Yamato displaystand, and I've got my eyes on a Roy VF-S with strikepacks. I guess Majestic is right, it's king of adictive, this toy collecting game. btw, anybody know if the Yamato displaystands are any good?
  3. Great! It finally comes back in stock and I'm broke. Wonder how long it'll stay in stock. Anybody know how large an average production run is on these things? Guys, please don't buy any so they will stay in stock long enough for me to get one.

    Other 1/48's

I guess nobody knows the anwser to my original question. Doesn't anybody have some contacts in the industry? So let's make this a wishlist thread. What would you like? Yamato, please take notes.

    Other 1/48's

Does anybody know if Yamato intends on making any other 1/48's like a VF-11 or 19 etc. Personally I would like a König Monster. I'd even be prepared to pay some good money for it. (cause I think it would be quite expensive)
  6. Maybe someone could post some step by steps fixes on common problems with Valks. Us noobs don't know the toys very well. (at least I don't) I have great respect for those people that have the skills to customize a Valk. It's been years since I did any modelbuilding so I don't dare customize an expensive Valk like my precious new 1/48 CF. Precious!,..PRECIOUS!!!,.. I NEED MY PRECIOUS. AH, there you are my precious. I love you.
  7. That's weird, It's a public drive. I'm new to this forum stuff I'll attach the pictures to this post WOW, that was much easier than what I did first. sorry
  8. After that I glued the rubber part in with a glue that doesn't dissolve the rubber. Then I screwed it back together and put the leg back on. Next I kissed the little auwie place on the hip and was all done. Result: one happy Valk and one very happy owner. Thanks to everyone for the advice (especially Kensei, you where right on the money with you're sollution)
  9. Next I screwed the hipjoint apart.
  10. I pulled out the leg while in battroid mode. It came off quite easily.
  11. Well, the patient made it through the operation. It's actually quite an easy fix. I followed Kensei's directions.
  12. Thanks guys, I'll try it tonight. I'll let you know what my findings are (If you're interrested )
  13. I've read the entire newbie thread and this is all I found. Oh no rubber is SEEPING out of my 1/48!! Should I worry? Depends on who you ask. This happened to me, and I sanded the paint off the diecast ball joints. The rubber no longer seeped out but the friction between the balljoint and leg encasing was decreased. This made the hips on my 1/48 considerably looser. I PM'd graham about this & he thinks the rubber seepage is not a big deal, in many ways I regret even sanding the joints since the rubber wasn't constantly seeping out, just some rubber exposed. In my case the rubber came out completely so I guess I'm scr*wed. (thanks for the quick reply )
  14. I just got my first Yamato 1/48 CF Valk today and I love it!!! After a few transformations I noticed that one of the rubber thingies in the hipjoint started "bleeding" out. Now it has completely left the hipjoint. Can anyone tell me how to put it back in its place?
