I think they could change the color, it's always red......
This isn't a ferrari .
And this citroen is not ugly @agent ONE, I have seing by far, worst... than that from this brand.
She is a bit much thought.
well, technically, Alfa is owned by Fiat who owns Ferrari... so it's like a distant cousin to Ferrari

This is exactly what I think.
- Alto crying all the time for no reason like a f*cking horse because he doesn't know what to do.
- Sheryl saying all the time ''I'm Sheryl, Sheryl Nome''. We all know you name you damn insecure b*tch. JUST SHUT THE HELL UP !!!
- Ranka playing the ''cute girl'' because she can't obviously compete with Sheryl's boobs and a$$.
- Ozma wanting to prove he is a man at every occasion possible surely because he doesn't want to admit to himself the INDISPUTABLE fact he is gay. So he found a good way to deny his homosexuality in ''protecting women he loves'' lol.
And I'm not going to talk about the rest of the cast because honestly I can't find the courage to criticize USELESS characters.
My sentiments exactly; after about the eighth time of hearing Sheryl repeat her name i was ready to just skip all of the character driven scenes. The over-masculine Ozma was exhausting but since they refused to give him any real screen time it's not like they could actually "develop" his character, which then brings us to the useless characters who were removed from the series about as fast as they were introduced. If this series was about 10 or more episodes longer, I think there could have been some real character development and something to really attach yourself to, but unfortunately that didn't happen.

I agree with DA, the dub is unbearable, the sub is actually not bad at all. You can tell the first four episodes were meant to open a longer tale but with their budget getting cut the series fell flat in those last two wrap up episodes. I think the series would've been better received if the Macross wasn't modified and subsequently destroyed. The mech designs were fantastic and if Bandai would have exploited those designs with merchandise the series probably would have been funded, but since it's not Gundam, Bandai isn't selling it (where's my Eureka 7 merchandise Bandai!?).

I didn't really feel an attachment to any of the characters Sheryl included, they were all kind of boring or annoying in some way or another. I voted Ozma; he got shot down Fokker style and survived, that's at least worth something, it sucks he didn't get more screen time towards the end of the series.

Elvis, JFK, and Bubba Ho-tep

not bad, interesting interpretation of the Mandarin, i also would've preferred him to not be a angst filled tween. At least have him out of high school, but i guess they need some kind of ploy for its target audience. Hopefully we get some good merchandise out of this.

the Raptor is a beast (an expensive beast at that) but i know for SSD's there are two different types, SLC and MLC, and the SLC's are considerably faster for both read and write than the MLC (which as you mentioned have crap write speed). I'm not sure how that compares to the Raptor since SSD's are fairly new to the mainstream market but it's probably a good idea to stick with what works for now while they work all of the bugs out of SSD's.

Hey David, I had the same problem with the belly plates and it took me FOREVER to figure out what the problem was, but once identified, everything fits like a charm. Look very carefully at your knee joints, they're double jointed so if you've ever transformed the YF-21 into gerwalk mode, chances are the legs are not completely straight. They may look straight, but if BOTH are not completely straight, then the belly plates won't fit right. For the last three days, i've had the exact same trouble you've had, thinking it was the gray bar piece (as that had a tendency to give me trouble) or other parts of the engineering, but it is in fact mis-transformation. i can grab a picture of how the legs should look later if you think it would help, the main knee joint is not the culprit, it's the second knee joint that is used for gerwalk mode. The second joint looks like it's completely pushed back into place, but it takes a little extra pressure to truly put it back in it's place, and you'll notice because there is a black screw in the middle of the joint: if the black screw is fully visible the joint is not completely in place; if it is only half visible then the joint is completely straight. Let me know if this helps because i just figured this out about 10 minutes ago and it feels good to have fighter mode back. For me specifically, the right leg was in the correct position while the left leg was just barely off so the joint issue wasn't so obvious.
EDIT:
lol, nvm, just realized it was the bump on the rear, that's happens to me if i push the arms into the engine slots too strongly, it pushes the rear of the backpack up, if i let them in enough for transformation but not in so tight the backpack sits flush; that probably is an engineering issue.

Thanks, I'll look into it.
I've been looking at D-link's site and it's very helpfull when it comes to looking for a Vista compatible product. They even have lists of 64 compatible products. I just hope it'll work with a Linksys WRT-160N router. When it comes to customer support, D-link has Linksys beat IMO. Linksys's site sucks in that regard.
You would've figured since Linksys is owned by Cisco that they would be top tier but i find this is not the case when it comes to Linksys. It seems to have started once they started to tout the fact that they're "A Division of Cisco", their product prices inflated, their support got worse, and their products stayed the same. I've always had good luck with D-Link; their site is easy to navigate and their products have never done me wrong. I have no doubt that your wireless NIC will work without a hitch with your N Router, i still have an old D-Link B/G NIC that still works like a charm (and it's been through three different wireless routers).

Are we just going to ignore his line of dialog in episode 24, where he says, "Soon... Soon I'll be able to meet you"?
Must've missed that line, in that regard you could say he feels a sense of relief since his dream could soon be realized now that the vajra are allies (he can just pick up and fold to her location.. assuming someone knows where that is). Guess that's what happens when you watch the whole series at once
-
If you watch the whole sequence, the monster is flying towards galaxy and gets a direct hit to its left arm cannon (whole front half of the cannon is mangled), then while brera and alto are charging it switches to a scene where the Monster is using both cannons to fire (which should only be able to use one if the other is jacked). I'll get grabs of it later, i did have the screens at work but was too lazy to upload them
-
I think people are looking into the Bilra thing too much; i interpreted it as him reminiscing the events of SWI, he looks old enough to have been a spectator or even an effected of the Minmay attack it probably just brought him back down memory lane.

agreed Eureka Seven was top notch, probably the best ending of any anime in its genre. I voted SDF:M, it's my wife's favorite also, best character designs, story, most iconic, etc.
-
When the Koenig Monster goes to shoot Galaxy's head it gets its left arm cannon destroyed along with its leg but a few frames later she's shooting around with both arms in tact but a still damaged leg, will try to grab screens of it later.

looks like it has drag radials in the rear too, didn't realize the rear tires were that much bigger than the front

If the movie elaborates and brings resolve to open ended plot points then i'd probably give it a 9, but with where it stands now, it's sitting at an 8, high 7 territory.

Actually the destroids did have their chance to shine this episode.
...*removed image*
Daedalus Attack!!! Well in smaller scale though.
i totally missed that, the action was so awesome but also so condensed for time that your eyes see more than your brain processes.

Singing could remind him of Minmay and induce rage. The NEW weapon of choice shall be... INTERPRETIVE DANCE!

Mine arrived today i can't wait to get home from work.
lucky bastard, My local anime shop is selling it for $20 but they're not getting them in for another couple weeks

I think the next story should focus more on tension between already settled colonies, or maybe two colonies fighting for the same planet. Problem is, it wouldn't fit with the whole "spirit" of Macross with the singing n' all (plus it's not exactly original or anything), but there's only so many new enemies that can come around before it becomes a bit unbelievable.
-
The last episode was sick! Though i gotta say, while SDF:M felt a handful of episodes too long, Frontier felt a handful of episodes too short, though if a movie truly is in the works hopefully it'll provide that extra bit of resolve that was slightly lacking. That was some extreme mecha porn, every mech design short of Destroids had some clear cut shoot em up screen time.

My co-worker just purchased a PCI Wireless N adapter for his Vista 64 box. The drivers that came with the adapter didn't work, but a quick trip to the website (I believe it was D-Link) provided him with a compatible driver. I'd recommend finding a product that suits your needs and do some quick research on their support site to see if drivers are available.

maybe we get lucky and they surprise us with an hour long finale

I loved the part where Cromarti sinks into the ocean. Also Richard's wife reminds me of the movie Sarah Connor.
I got that same feeling too about Richard's wife looking like movie Sarah Connor, i doubt they threw it in as a nod to her or anything, but there was definitely a resemblance.
Who was your favourite Macross Frontier character?

I made it about half way through Seven and lost interest, I've been told it's one of those series that you have to bite the bullet through and it grows on you, but i just had to take a break. I don't even think it was the characters (though i was getting really sick of Basara) but all of the recycled and inconsistent animation wasn't doing it for me. In all fairness i'm sure it wouldn't have been bad if i were watching it on a weekly basis as opposed to back to back, but i'm sure i'll revisit it soon. Plus was awesome, but i think I watched it too many times and am completely burnt out on Plus. I wasn't too fond of Myung, and I felt the whole post traumatic stress disorder with Guld was kind of stupid (not so much the disorder itself but everyone's surrounding behavior and it's ultimate "fix" i felt needed more thought).
Nothing touches the original as far as substance, i'm glad Frontier is here because it allows Macross to come back into the limelight, sell some merchandise, and hopefully it'll pave the way for some more Macross in the near future, but as far as actual story and characters, i'm in it for the merchandise.
