@MWUser I've used an outlook account without issue. You can use Buyee as a proxy, there browser extension is even supported on mandy. Keep in mind if you use a proxy you'll be paying JPN sales tax, domestic shipping in addition to the fees imposed by the proxy service so final costs of the item will be higher.

We may have been of the same batch (paid $225 as well) got my email from them around 11:30 east coast time. Its already tracking in FedEx app.

I had 5 separate surface shipments go out between 5/29 and 6/26. the quickest one took 2 months, the slowest just shy of 3. I'm going to average them out and vote 2-1/2 months.

I was in the first batch of orders. Did the people in the second batch of orders get theirs? If so that is some BS.

I had an order from the 1st and 2nd batch and got neither. I'm guessing there's a chance someone from the 2nd batch got there's but I would think that was more likely due to how badly NY operates. In the chaos they skipped over some 1st batch orders and/or as someone else mentioned - NY  were giving priority to orders that were in smaller quantities/fastest shipping method and not fulfilling orders chronologically.

I came to the conclusion a few weeks ago that they grossly over extended themselves on this one and I would never get my orders.

I had 2 orders pending one from late last year and one from early this year. Both were within a year though so I didn't have an issue with AMEX / PayPal to get my refunds. I'm pretty sure most if not all of my comments were in reference to the latter of the two transactions through PP.  Being that yours has been more than a year you may not have the recourse of going straight to the CC issuer.

To stay on topic. My Kaz arrived at my freight forwarded. I'm guessing it wont ship till to the US till mid/end of the week.

NY issued my refund and with that I'm closing the book on them. For those that may have the concern - I don't think they closed my account.

Well I'm done with NY. Went ahead and placed a claim with PP about 5-6 days ago.  This was my backup to my backup order and its the only pending item with them so I could care less if they respond by cancelling my account. I will not be giving them any future business under any circumstances.

I finally got a response a couple of days ago to my request to change shipping method after about 2 weeks of waiting. It's now been a couple of days since the change but it hasn't shipped yet. Since this is a "nice to have" not a "must have" for me I've pretty much decided that if they don't ship out by the 30th I'll file a claim with CC and with that end my relationship with NY.

Still waiting to hear back on my ticket sent 11 days ago. Just sent another one. I'm hoping to get this one item resolved (shipped) so I can be done with NY.  I've pretty much decided I won't be ordering from them anymore and didn't even bothered checking them during the recent Roy rush. Fortunately this is my only pending order with them and the 4th for the same item. The other 3 were spread out through other vendors that have already delivered so if I don't get a response to this new ticket I'm just going to dispute with my CC.

It's been a few months since I've used FJ but I recall there billing being a little confusing due to how they itemize there bill, where the do 2 charges - 1st for the item itself and then a 2nd for all their fees+domestic shipping costs+Etc. They add those two sums to the cost to ship internationally. When you do the estimate it doesn't account for those costs in the 2nd charge, or at least I don't remember it doing so.
