Exactly.  Plenty of members here were able to snatch up a VF-1S hikky at decent prices at actual release.

On another note, it's pretty interesting that Nin-nin pulled an NY during this preorder madness as in incrementally jacking up the price whereas NY didn't even bother and just made the jump straight up to 35000 Y.

Whew, finally got one through Nin-nin @ 23,490Y... I was sitting at the spinny circle of death for god knows how long.  Hearing all these stories about potential cancelled orders doesn't give me much confidence though.

Well, my missile sets from the 2nd run just arrived from Nin-nin-game.

My strike parts through Anime Export were stuck at Osaka since 4/16 managed to arrive last week as well.

Can't wait to finally get everything out and loaded up!

Story is the initial run sold out relatively quickly and they decided to make another run available but with a ~4 month later release.

Yes, that's what I saw too in regards to the second wave of the Strike Parts - April 2020.  Would love to see something potentially sooner but there's a lot in the pipeline already and my wallet could use a little break anyways.  On a side note, I enjoyed your video review on the DX VF-1J.  My wife gave me this funny "what are you watching" look when I launched the video...

Your guess is as good as mine.  If they stick to the current pace as they did the with the 1A and 1S, then we may see another pre-order in early August.  Personally, I'd love to see Roy's 1S next... of course that will probably mean pre-order hell of the likes no one has seen before if that was the case.
