  1. The MOSPEADA fans here are extremely hopeful that the Sentinel/T-REX design will be the best Legioss ever.  There is yet no Tread announcement, but we have seen some difficult to explain connection points on the Legioss samples.  The assumption is that if the Legioss sells well the Tread will follow in the future and use those mysterious connection points.  T-REX involvement always seems to bump up the retail price for the end product.

Both the battery bays for my light-up gimmicks were defective so that sucked. All four of the hard points sheered off when I removed the missiles so that sucked. The display stand is clear and the toy seems a bit better built than my Fokker so that's good. Overall, a pretty good looking toy but they still have some progress to make on QC/fit/build quality.

I'm assuming you know about screw extractors, but in case you don't:

The difficult part will be finding a set small enough for the screws you want to remove.

Nice bonus on the small bike figure.

Though I don’t know what to think about the folded antenna.

The folded antenna hinge hints at the size this thing is going to be.  On the smaller side it appears.

  4. Lack of display space aside, I wonder how much shipping will be.  I also wonder what shipping insurance will cover.  That's going to be a extremely large heavy box!

  5. There are some people that believe that heat is the major contributor to yellowing plastic.  From basic chemistry classes, heat does accelerate several chemical reactions.  In the case of my HCM VF-1J, I believe that to be the major source of it's yellowing.  I kept it in the closet and the closet got hot in the afternoon.  :(

  6. Most of my VF-1 are normal releases they're more anime accurate and all.  I'm all for proper aircraft markings, but I would think Valkyries based on OverTechnology, that can do a tuck and roll without damage, really shouldn't have "NO STEP" all over them.  That being said, PF sure are pretty.  It was a tough decision to pass on them.  PF only releases resolve that dilemma for me.

Because it is a decomas of freshly made Hoya Hoya,

  8. Based on Hiryu's experience, I do wonder if vapors from SC40 alone is enough to remove yellowing without the need to apply it directly to the item.  That would reduce or eliminate the need to perform any type of risky disassembly.

I personally think they are both one and the same.

Those that pass QC are sold as legit, with their respective boxes , stickers and manuals....whereas the lower QC are passed off as KO and sold as such at a lower price point. Anyhow, I really don't care, as long as they look good, I dont transform any of mine, just leave them in fighter mode.

I thought this was settled way back in October.

    Mine also arrived today.

Quick verdict: for about $80 including postage, this is not a bad KO copy for messing around when I can keep the genuine Arcadia copy in display.  There are a few noticeable differences in tolerance and finish. I will just focus on these:

    1. Leg fin parts do not line up well when they are not folded. Bigger gap than Arcadia or Yamato and the Fin feels slightly thicker.

    2. Wheel doors on each leg do not close up flushly. This may be a tolerance thing or the parts just need massaging in

    3. I can’t get the tabs that tab into the back of the legs in fighter mode to tab in properly. The alignment of the feet in F mode is a little off probably because of this.

    4. HOW TO DISTINGUISH between a KO and genuine copy: look at the two pics of Battroid mode. The orange “lights” behind the shoulders are different in shape and colour tone. The KO one is lighter and the lights are slightly longer.

    5.  The red “sights” of the gunpod are different - KO has a mold line in this piece where the Arcadia is completely smooth and the red is brighter in colour.

    6. Top down view of the shoulders show a little difference in the shape of the parts near the front hinge. KO is tapered and Arcadia has straight corners.

    7. Wing tip lights in the KO has matte paint, Arcadia uses metallic paint for the red and blue.

    8. The clear parts near the wing root are well aligned and flush in Arcadia’s copy. The KO clear parts are not installed very well and stick out

And the armor parts do not fit the KOs.  If anything they made most of their molds off of the Yamato Assembly Kits.
