  1. If Moehime is indeed in Ehime prefecture, then I would say that there is a good chance that former NY employees may be involved.  I haven't been able to verify their address anywhere.  I haven't been pushed to buy from them to find out.  If they took control of the remaining NY stock, then they may owe some of us some items.  Although I doubt any of us would be able to get what NY owed.  :cray:

  2. The problem is that the 1/55 VF-1 set the bar so high that anything Macross is pretty much expected to meet or exceed it.  For years most transforming toys only looked good in one mode and only from the top.  Its hard to argue that the Zeta Gundam looked good in it's waverider mode.  Gobots....  Well...  You know....  Macross toys are expected to look good in pretty much every mode at any angle.  High bar? Absolutely.  Unreasonable?  Most likely.

  3. While I cannot speak for BBTS, the last few orders I've made have been shipped by boat. It seems to be about 2 to 3 months. People seem to get their shipping notices before I do as there seems to be no rush on boat shipping. People have been talking about their HMR VF-0D for a month now. I don't expect to see mine for at least another month. :cray:

  4. Luna Park, based on posts from members here, tries to save on shipping. The try to use as little packing materials as possible. That being said, if you care about the condition of your retail box, look elsewhere. If you have no other choice, then all you can do is hope for the best.

  5. It is a WWM release so it should be fairly easy to get.  With the current exchange rate you may be better off getting it from a Japanese vendor.  Its like a nice discount or free shipping.

Going to pass on this one.  I don't "need it".  I just happened to see it when I was browsing AmiAmi and started looking around.  Best of luck to everyone!  :good:

  6. So speaking of Star Wars...  Following my trauma that was Episodes 7, 8 & 9, I had an epiphany of sorts.  I now like to remind people (because it amuses me) that the Empire is the "Legitimately Elected Government".  Aside from the issues with "Terrorists" (Rebels), It is largely a peaceful time.  As such, Storm Troopers are largely used as a "Police Force" and as such need to stand out as representatives of the "Legitimately Elected Government".

  7. One of my coworkers brought out his old Jetfire. The poor thing was just falling apart as he tried to transform it. The tail fins and backpack fell off. I don't know how far he got into the transformation before he stopped.

  8. Depending on where you live, the exchange rate could be in your favor.  It could be effectively like 45% off or so.  :good:

Like for example: an actual enclosed cockpit that doesn't make it's pilot a sitting duck for all sorts of crap and is ready to dump them out at a moment's notice.

I personally wonder when the designers of this mech heard the word "convertible", they were thinking of drop-tops!

So while I totally agree with you, I believe that since this is sort of founded on sci-fi samurai, the Sparta is an armored horse. 🐎  :unknw:

  10. Yup!  No instructions or papers of any kind in the KO box.  :search:

The thighs on my VF-1S Hikaru KO have gaps along the front of them.  I cannot do anything to get them to close up.  I never looked into the ratchet joints to see if they are reversed of not as I've never taken apart my Arcadias.  Guess I'll have to look into it.  Thanks for the tip!
