As the VF-0 isn't that much bigger than the VF-1, it makes me wonder if we might see a HMR VF-1 Renewal of sorts.

Yeah, that show just wasn't for me either. I don't think I made it past the 2nd episode before I dropped it.

I pretty much got the same treatment as Dr. Momma Cat on the same item from NY. Part of me hopes that it is held at Japan Post and I might get it one day. But I'm not holding my breath. 

As shipping costs are approaching crazy, the total cost might end up pretty close depending on exchange rates and shipping costs on one year's time. We'll find out when we find out.

Yes, they straight up slapped a Voyager saucer on top of an F-14 fuselage and glued on TMP nacelles mounted to Runabout pylons.

Just wanted to remind everyone that kit bashing existing and older designs in to a "new" model is a time honered tradition in other franchises.

So as I have gotten older, availability of bathrooms have become more of a concern to me. So 10 minutes at full thrust feels adequate to me. Which leads me to "how do you go to the bathroom in that thing?" 🚽

Lighting really makes a difference in what color she looks to be wearing. That and my phone's crappy screen.  I gotta say though, her feet seem a bit too narrow for my taste. 🤒

Once I noticed that the legs were backwards on the Revell kit, I just can't unsee it. Not to mention that "fins" on the legs are also backwards.

It's always good to hear when collectibles hold up well. 

I would totally pick one up on a re-release if that ever happens. I got into this a few year after they were released. I guess one of the questions should be "how have these held up over the years?"  There seemed to be some Valkyrie breakages early off.

Just making sure you tried all the easy fixes before spending money: Reboot the entire system. Update all the firmware.

Package theft and even shipping container theft happens all over the world.  Your area of the world seem to be a bit more exciting in that regard...

I pretty sure HG can only get a cut from Macross TV and DYRL products. Macross Zero should be HG free. Unless I remembered that incorrectly.

Hopefully it is an unrelated issue, but the current VF-31AX QC issues are giving me some concern about this. It is a simpler transformation so hopefully everything sets together properly.

Welcome to Macross World!  Most of the active members here are open to discussion, but you may want to consider that while the vast majority of members started out as Robotech fans, the majority are no longer for many many reasons. While there are members the still purchase Robotech goods, I would wager that the majority do not or will not.  A lot of it has to do with how HG treated the original Macross IP over the years. 

It certainly seems that way. Makes you wonder if they operate purchasing bots on pre-order night.

True, but the the designers knew that black was not the best color for night operations. The Have Blue prototype was painted the way it was for a reason. It just doesn't have the same psychological effect.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the association with the color black and stealth was caused by the Americans. I recall hearing back in the early 1990s that planes like the F117 and B2 were mandated to be black in color by Congress by way of budget approvals and the like. So in the following years, everytime hear about stealth planes and the like, we always see black painted vehicles associated with it.

It is always a treat for me to see everyone's in-progress builds and project completions. Those prints cale out really nice for that scale. I can't imagine the patience needed to paint things that tiny and at the numbers I imagine you are going to want.
