It's either totally skip over or a couple of figures worth getting.   

@Scyla - I have Darth Raven in hand and honestly it can be done better than this honestly. The hood on the cloak is too stiff and the plastic links to hold the flowing fabric are too flat to the look. Lightsabers are decent, but there are 3rd party ones that are way better than the Hot Toys version. 

I have at least 15 1/6 figures in total with a good chunk of them are Hot Toys while others are from Mondo (MoTU), 3z, Star Ace (skip over honestly as it's not that good), and Pop Toys (with 2 more on the way in a few months and fully paid off)

Big Influencers on the Tube hype up the HT craze especially with the two most disliked ones in the 1/6 community. Basically its a over glorified Barbie Doll at roughly $300 USD.

Argh!!! More 1/6 teases, but can we afford it due to the insane amount of additional taxes and making us go bankrupt in the process?!

There’s the regular version of the Crispy Ani that you can get @shazam, however the base is reused from the 1/4th (I believe). 
Just with the additional taxes that’s been implemented throughout various hobbies and other things in general, I feel that pre-orders are going to be cancelled or cut back to certain reasonable levels until things work out with both parties.

I would wait for a possible Malak or Mara Jade, but that’s Howard’s call. 

Even if it says returned item from Amazon (such as the DX 21 and other related Macross related items), you never know if it’s replaced with a totally different item, missing parts or totally destroyed. No one is going to do a complete check as it a high paced environment and everyone it in a very tight time crunch. 

Your well off getting it from a place that does a very deep and proper inspection.

Next inline for Hot Toys Star Wars figures

Nihilus still looks like a cat with those “ears” at that angle. Even with the Black Series 6 inch version of him out, it still looks off to me. 
 

Galen and Concept Maul were still available on the shelves during Star Wars Celebrations in Japan. 

Are you seriously joking Star Ace? $285 USD each for either Ray, Egon, Peter or Winston.. I think Blitzway’s version looks better and has better quality overall. 

It’s time that I truly part away with the Hunger Games Katiness Everdeen (Black Hunting Amour) from my collection. I have not bought any Star Ace 1/6 figures after that experience. 

Cherry Blossom Stormie?? I'm not sure if the Porcelain one looked better or this reminds me of an extravagant Warlord that would wear this in their daily lives.  

Anyone a cell shaded 1/6 Vader with pleather which will flake and peel off like a Snake in molting season?
