More sounds like because it was a single slot the armor could shift and rock, damaging the leg paint.

First time came across any of these Bandai gashapon sets:

Based on an old forum post, there appear to be 3 series released.
If you get the other set the Tomahawk is pretty great.

Anime Export got mine, only $32 to ship via small packet to California.
Hope the tariffs aren't too bad...

¥4,000 more than HLJ, and another ¥6,000 shipping. I think I’ll just wait to see what the prices are after release for this one…

Well, was busy working on a work project due Monday, and guess I missed all the preorders.
Oh well, at least it wasn't a Valk I was super into.
-
I mean, I’ll probably get one…but only because I’m a VF/YF-19 fan, not because I like Basara or the fire valk.
also you don’t need to worry about it being unpopular, M7 and Basara are huge in Japan.

Mine were very brittle, I manged to get a few together safely, but they were definitely brittle.
-
Well, on the bright side at least the tariffs are only on the base cost, and not the exorbitant shipping?

Between this and Dandadan Science Saru is doing god's work.

So, who's in the red Gundam?
Char clone in a mask? Just like the last few times?

That's about normal, the sellers are paying 16,500yen plus shipping. So they're only making about 1500yen per sale.
-
I have one for sale, but it might be a few weeks before I can ship it out. Got separated from my collection to care for a family member.

Sweet! Been wanting the Yamato for a while, but this will do instead!

I’ll say I am not looking forward to the shipping charges and possible tariffs on the kickstarter.
Got in my artillery pods though, and they look good. Makes me excited for the scout pod and the rest of the non-transforming figures.

I just realize the Arcadia soon to be release VF-0A cost as much as the reissue of the SDF-1, I really have no idea in what they based their decisions for their price tag, but size is not one of them that's for sure, the VF-0A a more complex figure?, who knows maybe some here owns them have a better take on this, in my opinion it should cost like 10000 yen less than the SDF 1.
Another thing it grabs my attention is that for the VF-0A it seems POs are sold out, something you don't see very often for Arcadia Valks, nonetheless I have POd both cause is being a while I wanted these two, the other ones I hope some day appear for POs as well are a Arcadia YF 21, VF-19p, and VF 0D Pheonix Non-premium(for the lower price of course).
but one thing is certain that the shipping cost for the SDF-1 will be one heck of price tag.
My guess is that though the SDF-1 is larger and heavier, the VF-0 is more complex. More parts, more involved assembly.

Man, those shipping charges sting....but at least I can skip the ebay prices for the artillery pods...

Wish the latter series were a bit easier to find. I have series 1, plus 2 sealed boxed, but couldn't find much for the rest.
-
I am currently at the toy show selling most of the things from my for sale thread if anyone is in the area.
Feel free to stop by, they charge $15 admission to the show.

Sigh...

Well, looks like it'll get funded, if narrowly.
I am totally down for some Desdroids when those open up.
-
All listed items still available.
I will be bringing these to the Super Toy Show at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds on Dec 7th as well.

Hi, does this include all the hardware?

Pictures don't do this thing justice... it's so much more bizarre in hand. I don't know what process they used to make the shiny plastic the way it is, obviously it's textured on the normal DX releases. Is it like an electrolysis process done to normal plastic parts? I really do need those dx gloves!
They look very similar to the metallic coated Gundam kits, which electroplated on top, for the uncolored metallic ones the coating thickness isn't too bad (colored metallic is much thicker).
Will need to wait for mine to show up to see how it looks up close. I have a few kits I can compare against.

Mine has reached the proxy I ordered through, but haven't shipped out yet.
