If you are looking to attract buyers who understand true market demand driven prices...yes

As always, the final selling price will depend on several variables...so it's always good to stay flexible on price, especially if you are looking for a quicker sale...good luck!

Fortunately not much need for a quick sale. The list of what I'm selling off is over 150 entries long.

I'll put up a few for sale threads once I'm done pricing everything out.

Scale is a factor though. I think most people can't just pretend 1/72 from any brand are just the same size as a 1/100 lined up beside it. Bandai's old 1/72 were also hard to get into for less hardcore modellers because of transformation complexity, durability, size, and price, while still requiring small amounts of parts forming. As strange as it may sound, I think a lot of people would prefer not dealing with fiddly transformation on delicate parts, and tons of potential weak joints in a model kit. Just having everything in one consistent and much more accessible lineup should do wonders for demand too, and there is no competition for the later valks at the 1/100 scale either.

Let's not forget they already did the YF-29 as well.

I imagine Bandai will continue to at least test the waters for the other series, and throw out an Alto messaiah and Hayate seigfried. If those go well, it will be easy for them to palette swap and work those molds to death.

I built up transforming VF-27, VF-31, and SV-262 kits (and the craptacular VF-1), and would definitely take a 1/100 parts-former over 2 of the 3. The SV-262 is just great, however.

Uh, I wonder how they compare to the Bandai DX.  They are a lot better looking than that NECA crap.  Crimson looks pretty nice indeed, Gypsy paneling is a bit overdone for the scale, but the metallic paints are nice.  I wonder if they'd be available once it release as they all say its sold out.

USA Gundam Store has it for pre-order, $97.

Incidentally, if anyone is interested,  a seller on ebay just listed several non-PFs and a PF for sale... for the low low price of $1000!!! A friend of mine put this sort of thing best, "Tuna fishing."  Maybe one of them will get folded into the orbit of Pluto.

    VF-0S PF for $1000, or 0D?

Wondering since I have a 0D PF I need to sell off (and a non PF). Need to reduce my collection for space reasons.

So I bought several different Arcadia valks in similar packaging with similar sized boxes.  Sahra charged me just 5400¥ to ship the massive VF-19 Fire.  Nakano charged me a whopping 24,500¥ for the SV-51!!!

Of the two, I'd definitely say the SV-51 box is larger and would expect it to have a higher cost to ship. Package size, especially width, costs more than weight.

I really really do not trust Bandai to do this, after what they did with the Sv262.  There was all the opportunity in the world for them to milk that mold with several more variants, and they haven't even looked at that design since the initial release.

I think there's definitely a little more potential with M&M releases.. but we've seen how enthusiastic they've been about getting us the M&M DX VF-1s.  I'm not holding my breath. <_<

With how poorly the sv-262 was received and sold nobody should be surprised it never got released again.

Bandai is risk-averse. I'm just glad that the poor DX reception didn't torpedo the 1/72 model kits (which were much nicer to transform).

  7. I have one of the original Threezero Patlabor figures, and it gets an A grade from me. Even has fabric joint covers that look good. Hefty, solid, poseable, gimmicks, hits all the right notes.

Only company I've been more impressed with is CCS (specifically their Gurren Lagann, which is amazing)

Has anyone bought from here before? Some of the prices seem too good to be true!

Only though a proxy, but yes. Mercari is just fine, but IIRC they won't ship internationally.
