I don't know if this counts a new toy I hope I'm not breaking any rule
, but thing is I got this last week as a Bandai Model kit of Masterchief and today I start/finished the assembly, this is my first kit I build and my entry to start building Gundams, did a bit of sticker custom cutting for the base and putting those metallic lines in there, also I placed that Bandai logo in the middle.

Great purchase on the Metal Build 00 7S Gundam. I have 2 of those before. But I already sold one to a colleague when I purchased the Metal Build 00 Raiser.
But just so you know, the upcoming Bandai release coming July is not a 'reissue' per se. But it's a new release as Seven Sword/G since it's going to have the GN Sword II Blaster. But from what F360 posted on the Third Party Gundam thread, Metal Build is also making an option set that has the GN Sword II Blaster and extra GN Buster Sword. Either way, that Metal Build 00 Gundam Seven Sword is still a good buy for its price.
Thanks for the heads up
, I thought it was reissue and now the interest remains if I will try to get that one just to do a side by side comparison , while I was waiting for the 7s I was looking into the Metal Build Raiser too, it looks so awesome and since now I got the 7S I think will look even further into it

Some figures I got this week, I'm stunned of this none Bandai brand Metal Build the sheer quality of the figure is insane, I bought this figure because I wanted first to have the idea of what a Metal Build is, so before I shell out 200 bucks or more in a Bandai one I wanted to try out this ones first(did a lot of reaserch
), and for my surprise I'm speechless is just amazing, the size, the detail, the metal, the heft of my god heft are just amazing, I was about to try to get the re-issue seven sword bandai version this July but I don't know I want it know because of this one, will try to get Exia part repair III I think it has a reasonable price right now.
As you can see in the picture there is Model Kit of Master Chief, it doesn't show up in the picture but this is from Bandai , I'm trying to get into Gunpla and so I got this from Toy R us in a clearance (5 bucks) as my first training build, the runners have even japanese words in each one of them, let see how it goes, oh and that's Radamanthys from Saint Seiya up there.

Worry about the money later. What matters is to secure a PO first. Sad to say, money is nothing when you don't have a preorder.
totally true

Cool! I need to get a Metal Build Gundam just to experience one myself.
Yep me too, I'm actually trying to decide if I keep biding on a Gundam right now, or I wait and saved money for July and try to get the new version of the Metal Build Gundam Seven sword figure.

Arrived today, the heft & size are great and the looks of the figure is beautiful, one of the main points for me a figure must have, this also why I loved so much Macross Valkyries because of this reasons, not to mention Macross/Robotech, Saint Seiya and also Gundam are some of my favorites anime series that I grew up with, next stop to get a Metal Build Gundam!... sorry no gunpla I don't have that much time to build one

Man I was so tempted to bid on that Metal Build Gundam(Heinen) that just ended in your items list, congrats to the one who was able to grab such an awesome figure, I'm so interested in that DX YF-29 figure that you are selling, the price is great!, but I need to be sure I will be able to afford the other figures I'm planning to buy in August and September, this two month will be crazy, VF-1J Milia 1/60 and will try to get in september Farina Valkyrie since I wasn't able to get a preorder

If you really don't want them, I suggest you sell them now and get what you can.
The prices peaked and have nowhere to go but down. There are not enough collectors interested in these to drive up prices anymore. Even the rare and exclusives no longer sell. For example, the Macross Chronicle 1/48 Weathered Strike VF-1S Hikaru is by most definitions a holy grail....yet the collector interest is just not there for the 1/48 Yamato VF's...it is an example of rarity not equating to desireability....thus the declining market prices for it and all other 1/48's.
To make matters worse for you and others on the fence with these specific collectibled......what do you think you could sell your 1/48th's for when the 1/35th DYRL Anniversary Ultra DX comes out next year?
OMG!!!, I wonder how much that thing will cost and what is the scale of that figure ?, I think the one of the left is the Takatokou 1/55 scale Valkyrie. Still will start saving from this day hehe, thanks for the image
Updated:
hehe I just saw the scale is 1/35 scale, I got confused with the "th" referring to the anniversary

nice first post! first valk too?
Thanks :),
Actually my first valkyrie was a small one, a Banpresto 1/100 Vf-1S/J/A, this Macross Delta figure is my first one that I bought directly from Japan(amiami).

Is it worth it ?
Absolutely!, the jets designs and how they transforms I think are always the pinnacle of what Macross is about, still adding also an iconic character name for example Roy or Hikaru as the pilot it adds even more value and makes it more special to have. I think theres no one besides Macross figures that can portray how beautiful / fearsome this figures can look in fighter form, gerwalk and Battroid modes, the designs and colors are really something special, last week I got the VF-31F Messer and looking into it just something to behold, the detail, the color, is really that impressive.
Probably the only thing that annoys me is that the production of Macross figures are so limited, if you can't grab one at released date and if you want it later so be prepared to pay some extra money, I wish the Macross brand opened up a bit so everyone can experience this awesome figures.
