The regults look great in urban landscapes, impressive.

Just a quick look at the SQ game prize Freyja (left) and the Ichiban Kuji Freyja (right).

Both actually look pretty good and really capture Freyja's look just right. The overall production quality of the 1kuji Freyja is definitely better than the SQ version, but it's not a huge difference; it definitely wouldn't come close to passing muster as a regular retail price figure like some of the past Sheryl/Rankas could have.

SQ Freyja's hair is especially bad. She's essentially a bleached blonde. It's hard to tell from pics, but SQ Freyja also has way shinier skin, making her look more like a mannequin than a, er, fictional animated character (if that makes any sense lol).

SQ Freyja also comes with a plastic support column (not shown) to be plugged into the stand behind her, so she'll probably eventually start leaning. I hate it when figures need separate support columns, but it's a cheap game prize figure, so whatever I guess.

Although the 1kuji Freyja does cost twice as much, we're talking about 1k yen vs 2k yen. I'll just wait for the 1kuji Walkure and skip out on the rest of the SQ figures.

On a side note, the SQ Kaname figure looks terrible. WTF happened to her face?!

As of now I have 14 Regults, 3 Glaugs, 2 Monsters, 10 CF VF-1As, 1 CF VF-1J, 2 VF-1J Hikarus, 2 VF-1S Strike Hikarus, 3 VF-1S Strike Roys, and 2 Armored VF-1Js. Also have 3 VF-1J Maxs, 3 VF-1J Mirias, and 3 missile effects on preorder. Keep it coming Bandai and I'll continue buying.

I understand the point of buying 14 regults, or several cannon fodders, but what is the reason to buy 3 VF-1S Roys or 3 vf-1j max? I do not understand ...

Got my H-Metal R VF-1J from HLJ yesterday. After opening the box and taken out the toy, the leg connector broke

Did not force anything, just lifted the toy from the plastic cover and the right leg did not come out. Impossible fix. Have to send it back to get a new one?

Wow, That piece supports a lot of stress to hold the legs. I hope it's not a recurring problem in other vf. I would ask for a replacement with a new one.

Progress. Removed some of the red stripe on the VF-1J's chest and the head stripe and dot on the VF-1J head.

Wow very nice, vf-1j Cannon Fodder looks good! How you remove the red lines?

I'm glad that the cover of the shoulders come on a separate piece. I'll be able to make a copy in resin for my roy vf-1s.
