  1. How was Messer's Valkyrie still intact? At the end of the last episode it was plummeting from the sky. Does the AI take over at some point and stop it from crashing? I know there was a discussion regarding the AI in Hayate's Valkyrie being disabled in an earlier episode.

On another note, I don't think there's any indication that Kaname had feelings for Messer. I think his connection to her through "Axia" came as a complete surprise, however there's no doubt that revelation deeply affected her. My guess is that Messer's death will ultimately bring Kaname and Arad closer together.

Finally, I agree with the criticism regarding the last few conflicts between Delta and the Aerial Knights. Having the episodes end without resolving the skirmishes in some fashion is growing increasingly disappointing.

al sahal are mostly dessert so if the plane crash on sand it seems will intact. on frontier alto plane crash on soil and rocks at galia4 and it didnt break

  2. Quick view.

I definitely feel cheated by breaking to the aftermath. So the Aerial Knights just stopped and left? No, "CRAP! Ragna forces have arrived. We're outnumbered! Run!", Just let's cut the the funeral. Boring. Absolutely boring. It was a nice story episode (not so much a character episode and not a action episode) but I kinda wanted some follow through from last week. Not immediately go to the aftermath.

At this point, Windermere needs to suffer some big setbacks. The fights feel really 1-sided. There's no stakes for Windermere. NUNS has lost pilots. Now Delta Squad has lost pilots. When will Windermere feel that pinch now? They started this fight, it's about time they feel the sting of it.

perhaps next hayate or others wont be hesitate at shooting again, we need master hermann killed either by dogfight or by protecting other knight (bogue?) or perhaps one of the twins?

  3. So my big prediction is that the point of scanning Ragna's ruins (a twin said something like "we can make the wind blow any time"?)is that they're going to blow them up and take the planet with.

Big raising of the stakes at that point. Evacuating with the Elysion ect.

I think they mean they can use ragna ruin to spread var on ragna. heinz just has to target ragna
  4. I see it now.

So then the leg supports rotate forward to sit underneath the Arm Carrier ships. The towers don't really flip backward, it appears the torso rotates and the center module counter rotates to keep the bridge on the topside of the ship. A fairly simple transformation compared to the NMCV Battle Carrier, but also reminiscent of the SDF-1.

Now the million dollar question? Does she carry a buster cannon or not?

I just hope the right side arm are a pseudo carrier that actually a gunship :D perhaps it hide the cannon firing mechanism behind the deck :p

  5. As Windermere conquers more planets Chaos begins an operation to stop the tide. Aether launches with Alpha, Beta and Delta Squadron.

This episode focuses on the trials of the main triangle. Mirage burdened by her family's legacy and expectations of others. Hayate in saving Mirage from death has first kill with a mook newbie Aerial Knight. Freyja with accusation of Bogue she is traitor.

Mikumo questions what is Freyja motivation and telling her to comfort Hayate. However Mirage beat her to the punch. Mirage relating how she felt with her first kill fighting fighting an Anti-UN group. Freyja is at the background contemplating.

Yes people the love triangle is forming.

Keith in this episode is blood thirsty. They had to retreat as it is affecting Heinz badly. Later Keith brings Heinz outside to show him the reason why they fight. Showing him a crater bristling with energy. The doom of Windermere.

Post credits Captain Johnson presents an operation to Vordor. An infiltration one it seems. Preview has Mirage in a disguise.

so its true then. winderemere would be eaten by fold faults that protect it, so they desperately need a new world. perhaps it has something to do with the ruin artifacts

  6. It's possible. That might explain why Windermereans are more likely to be disgruntled or rebel, perhaps because they were more educated and in more of a position to know the truth of any situation they entered into with the N.U.G.?

or perhaps they already has planet wide government as kingdom and dont like UNG republic/presidency form of government.

  7. Familiarity is one reason for the use of the SV-52. We don't know who all was on the Megaroad, however it could quite well be former Anti-UN forces, SV otaku, or a dozen other valid reason such as even economic. We know for example with Frontier why they have the Macross Quarter and a whole squadron of the VF-25 Messiahs was due to SMS financing the fleet. Following Space War I, we have to consider that many of the Megaroads were sent out in less than ideal circumstances and with less back up than the later Macross # fleets. This means they can and will take what they could get to provide additional back up. Not to mention Another thing to consider is they probably left with a few SV-52's but along the way developed new fighters. We've seen such to a degree in Macross 7 and Macross Frontier, where each fleet takes existing designs and fleshes them out to suit themselves and/or develop new ones of their own such as Macross Galaxy with the VF-27 using the data they get from NUNS. But all things point that the ship that arrived at Windermere was using SV variants. Which we have already seen one other then the Draken III thanks to the photographs show in this episode. So we are well aware of older SV's existing that aren't 51/52's. Which this shows that they have been producing other SV's for some time.

In fact everything points to the fact that once the Megaroad arrived they shared their SV's with the Windermerian's since they had officially shown to have a flying squadron of their Knights in older SV/VF's. Which means then once they had their war of independence they usurped the production lines and kept them for themselves and continued to further develop them on their own. My point being that in all likely hood, the Megaroad that arrived on Windermere was primarily using SV variants and not the usual VF's. Thus the production lines for the Draken and it's ilk all hailed from the SV-51's, giving us a contiguous progression of two separate transformable mecha fighter lines. The VF's and their YF prototypes and then the rival line of the SV's of which the Draken III is current reigning king of. I will throw a guess and say that the fighters we see in the photographs are probably the previous SV unit the Draken II. But in all likely hood, Windermere colonizing Megaroad was more SV predominant than VF.

However, it may be nothing more than idiological, the Windermerian's may just have simply chosen to accept the SV nomenclature for no other reason than the fact that it represented Anti-UN sentiments. Of course then though this implies that they bothered to read up on Earth history some how and chose to purposely go with such an vague obscure reason...

perhaps that megaroad crewed by former anti-UN :D and somehow they managed to influenced the king to secede.

  8. I do wonder if the dimensional barrier on Windermere is similar to the Ouroboros aurora where there are fold faults.

If so NUNS can't make a first strike as it negates fold drives... Unless Chaos has Fold Dimensional Resonance System on their VF-31s. As the VF-31 was based on the YF-30.

perhaps they can call the vajra to open that barrier, just like on frontier ep 25

  9. Ragna and Windemere never had a choice in alien intervention. I see Windremere and Ragna like Native Americans and Polynesians who werr visited by colonizers. No matter the intenition Spacy had bearing down on primitives is going to have severe consrquences. Windemerians probably see their own culture disappearing and assimilating to the Aliens. "uplifiting" is a more modern term of colonization.

ragna seems dont have grudge on NUNS/UNG like the winderemerean. why? is there some effects caused by the "uplifting" that make winderemere secede? or in this case they think they only regain their independence from UNG
