Since 1995 when I got back into Robotech/Macross

Has anyone posted good well lit comparison pics of the original Toynami Alpha & the “new” Aoshima Legioss/Alpha’s. I would really like to see the difference between the paint shades.

The dollar continued to plummet. Looks like we should be at 100 yen to $1 any day now. For a while $1 was close to 120 Yen... Yamato is going to find out first hand just how (un)important the American market is as we won't be able to afford importing their stuff anymore (with exception of the diehards). You can also imagine that any American companies that were investing in Anime are about to get all sorts of screwed (if you hate HG this is your sunny day!).

It has been interesting to see the rate rise and fall over the years I just wish we had all this great stuff available in 1998.

What type of DVD player do you use to watch non US region coded DVD's; Computer DVD-ROM, or Home Theater DVD player.

I am going to be in LA from the 19th to the 22nd of November, if they are open I will hopefully be able to make my way to Franks & Sons for the first time. I have been in LA three times in the last 3 years and have never been able to get over to Franks & Sons.

The main thing I am looking for is a VF-1J stealth with armour or stealth armour be its self.

Did Aoshima correct the banana type bend to the alpha when it is in fighter mode.

I prefer the much more colorful cover art of the ADV release over both of the Animeigo versions. The issue of box art however is about as subjective of a reason for someone to buy one of these box sets as I think you could possibly come up with.

Can you post the Background image without the ships, then post the cluter of ships as a 2nd image?

This series does not appear to come in traditional box set, rather 1 inch thick keepcase that will hold all 8 discs.

Will the encryption between the single and box set disc effect the over all quality of the video?

I was not going to wait until December to get the box set; however since the date for the 1st two DVD’s has been pushed back now until 9-25-07 I may just change my order.

Does anyone have an idea of what the secret valk will be for this set?

The latest release date for Orguss on DVD is now 9-18-07.

The upcoming release of Orguss on DVD has been pushed back to 9-4-07 from it original release date of 8-14-07.

This post is hardly spam, I have seen offers of forwarding things from Japan several times on this site.

I am in the need of someone who can take delivery of a die-cast airplane and ship it to the US. I would be more than happy to pay a gratuity to anyone who went to the effort of helping me out.
