I was actually about to start watching it. Does the show have a decent enough ending?
It tries to set itself up for a second season but didn't leave me hanging.

Well, that sucks. Still recommended even if its just one season.

I'd still recommend watching R1 before Andor, since the closing shot of Andor is the perfect final note for the experince IMO.
No, there was just someting in my eye...
Yes, as a dad it got me as well.
Found this fan edit of Rogue One's ending with the Andor theme.

I think I'm just going to wait on this one.
Same however the reviews look decent. It'll be on MAX soon enough anyways.

Quick note its Amazon Prime Day so you may find good deals. Other stores (eg Microcenter, Newegg) are having competing sales as well.

Will be popping in to see it next Tuesday. I hope it's good, as me and critics (ie, people paid to tell me their opinion) often differ.
I probably wouldn't care about critic reviews so much if movie tickets weren't so expensive. Now, a film must score a 8/10 or equivalent with good word of mouth if its expects me to shell out $70 to $100 (or more) for a movie date night with my wife.

Looks more like a video game...

Yavin's secret is on the low end of the logic breaking in Star Wars. lol

If you're gaming at 1080p you can also look at used cards as an alternative to 5060 Ti 16Gb that are going for over $450 which is stupid high imo. Recommend checking reviews online and searching Youtube for GPU FPS tests on games you're interested in playing to see what can actually fit your needs.

Speaking of retro films my wife and I thought it would be fun to watch the Final Destination film series on MAX. We stopped after we finished the first movie, lol.

Dang, RIP. Always played the everyman kind of villain.

Yeah, just recalled I went through that experience with a AMC theater last year. Never again. Thankfully there is a good selection of movie theaters where I live.

For you theater-goers.
AMC now warns moviegoers to expect ‘25-30 minutes’ of ads and trailers
Maybe it's a blessing-in-disguise that I have less time to go to theaters these days.
F that!

After the end of Terminal List I'm not sure a prequel series was necessary... But I said the same thing about ANDOR so... lol.

Looks fun. Arnold's version is still great tho.
You cold-blooded bastard! I'll tell you what I think of it! I *live* to see you eat that contract! But I hope you leave enough room for my fist, because I'm going to ram it into your stomach and break your goddamn spine!

I probably won’t spend the cash, but I’ll definitely check it out when it streams. This is my bad movie franchise. Sorta like how some people will watch every Fast n Furious or every Godzilla movie, but at least I’ll never pretend that these movies are actually good. I’ll admit they’re bad, but I’ll still probably watch every one of them.
It's called a guilty pleasure 😀

Is that 5 out of 5 or 5 out of 10?
5 out of 10 which is bad but not terrible. Not gonna spend $20 or more to watch it at a theater.
-
IGN gave it a 5. IMO the trailers were meh so I'll just wait till it comes to streaming. I still think a limited streaming series that closely follows the original books would be a better idea.

Looks fun. Ryan Gosling knows how to carry a film.

The anime series that follows the manga closely would be more ideal. I think that got cancelled too, ugh.

WA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA!
Squish!!

Half-way through DUSTER on HBO Max. Fun retro-like series and Josh Holloway is great as usual. Recommended.
