Alrighty! Both bad news and good news. My second YF-21 from Amazon came today and the box was absolutely trashed. This was from an Amazon Marketplace seller, so I was expecting this, but still disappointing all the same (considering it was marked up). Regardless, as feared, the head laser did arrive bent.

The good news? I was pretty much able to completely repair it with just a hairdryer by blasting it with heat until it was soft enough to reshape and slowly bend back. I've used a hairdryer to reheat and repair other figures before, and I'm glad to say that it worked on this head laser as well. Not only did I manage to get it straightened out, but the heat also made the stress mark disappear completely.

So, if yours does come with a bent head laser, this is definitely something you can try (at your own risk)!

To be fair, the 2 on the top are 45.000 Chilean Pesos ($48.15 USD) each.  Shipping from Chile may be $100 USD or so... and these transform to all 3 modes.  They also come painted!

one could simply take on the task of collecting every gray vf-1j variant in 1/55 scale, and it would be an amazing collection by just that alone!  there are many many variants for the gray 1J.

It's the "when", is the part we all share.  For now, here's a Wen we can enjoy in the meantime.

Never fret!  I just started a few months ago!  An exacto knife and some styrene.. some paint.. learn as you go!  I don't know how to 3D print either, I found a buddy online that just happened to make a cool Bowie and gun!  It's never too late to start my friend!
